I’ve never painted in my life but I happened to have some stretch canvases here at the house and decided to give it a try and I fell in love. Thank you for saving this old woman’s sanity

Another Christmas one, I love it and one day I may get up the nerve to paint this one. I am kinda a perfectionist and if mine doesn’t look like yours, all blended and smooth, I throw in the towel and surrender.

I love the moody feel I get from this! haha kinda like how I feel about x-mas, I guess it´s the sky, which is gorgeous btw 💜 That little egg camper looks like the one my mom and her guy has, but it has some blue details on it, small as heck but it´s adorable! :D 💜 Well done Michelle :) 💜
You are an amazing teacher. My daughter and I painted the cute snowman. We enjoyed it so much! I do have a question. You state at the beginning that the canvas is primed. Do we need to prime our canvas before we paint? The snowman was my 1st try at painting so I know nothing about painting. Thank you so much! I can't wait to paint again.
Hi Emily, If you are buying you canvases that are already stretched onto bars, than they are probably already primed too, which means you don't need to do anything. You can check by seeing if the canvas is whiter on the side you paint and more of a raw tan canvas on the backside... if so, you're all set, it's already primed. Have fun painting!
You put him on Lone Pine Key??? The sky looked just like that when I was there and saw a few campers near the water. I even got to see those cute little deer. Working crazy hours for the next few weeks, but going to try and squeeze this in. Thanks!
I don't understand the highlight on the side facing the viewer, because the light is coming from the back side of the camper...... Shouldn't it be more in the shadow?
