iKON was really never one to follow the trend, yet as a self-produced group they always re-invent themselves. Looking forward to your reaction for Bobby's two new songs as well, Drowning and Cherry Blossom. Good to see you back! 😊
The album such a roller coaster, we got pop-dance, hiphop, ballad, sexy-dance-rnb, soul-reggae-rnb, and even trot (korean traditional genre) 😭 iKON is very very versatile
I’m just gonna say that this is why iKON is my ult!! They hv been going on in the industry for almost 8yrs now and doing all sorts of genre with their own flares.. they nvr recycle the same genres. If u dive into their discography there’ll be some u like n some u don’t n that’s totally okay.. the news about they left yge is the best thing that ever happened to them n ikonics!! We all new how the old comp wasted their talents n youth.. it’s all gonna be good things for them onwards.. looking forward for more iKON contents frm u in future ❤
thank you for reacting to ikon, yes i agree i respect 143ent .. with just 4 employee before ikon sign with them with no building, only small office and small practice room in basement but they give their best for ikon on this comeback. the MV set, the music show set and the concert stage also extravagant

you're absolutely right when it comes to the perception thing. ikon have been making brighter/funner songs on their albums since debut (beautiful, freedom etc.), but when killing me, love scenario and rhythm ta are some of their biggest hits, it's definitely not the kind of sound non-fans might expect for them. i'm glad that they've done it, with this album as a whole, they explore a lot of sounds they perhaps haven't had at the forefront of their music in the past and it really works.
also hearing that you're thinking of going through them on the rediscovery series is fantastic! ikon are my ult group and you probably provide my favourite commentary/reactions out of all the reactors i keep up with on youtube and patreon, so to get more of your perspective and opinions on them and their careers would be awesome!
this comeback as a whole has just been an awesome whirlwind, getting a lot of the stuff yg wouldn't give us (first full album since 2018 no less) and just having them being more active this year than they have been for the past few. i have tickets to see them in july and cannot wait, it's been a good year for ikon so far.
ikon are legit so amazing like i could write a BOOK about what makes them so special! Their artistry, their genuineness, their dedication! Truly inspires me every day since i started stanning them in 2018. I can't WAIT for you to rediscover them because if you like groups like MX (my other ults) you'll LOVE iKON! Plus they're some of the FUNNIEST people ever hahaha

Thank you for loving iKON and their songs. First of all I hope you're doing ok lately and take care of yourself and stay healthy mentally and physically. Secondly, please put iKON on top of your list to discover. Their discography is top notch and unmatched IMO. Even their b-sides are the best and that's why you need to react to their full album. Some of these new songs were written years ago, showcasing their talents, so they will have a lot more bops to be released now that they have creative freedom. Can't wait for more iKON reactions!
