I went to a wedding and the deejay was playing this and I fell in love with the song I went and brought the CD the next day and I play this song everyday. My father came home and asked me what I know about this song and he borrow my cd and he never gave it back so I ended up buying another cd and nobody touching my CD lol
Bought this the day it arrived in my local Reggae shop on a Gem 12" Pre-release Disco Special. Haven't heard it in years. Lovely tune. Thanks for posting.
Saw Jimmy Lindsay at Reading University Students Untion, supporting Ronnie Lane...he was giving out 12" singles of this song I maNAGED TO GRAB ONE...AWESOME.mY ONER WAS ON GREEN VINYL my mate's was on regular black vinyl...when things like one upmanship mattered ...
My very first vinyl album i brought with my money i got from my 16 birthday , i remember playing this in my bedroom over and over again , last i saw of it was when i lent it to a so called friend, never saw that album again :(
I LOVE this! Bought it when it first came out in the 1970's - loved it then and love it now - it sounds as good as ever. I have the 12" on red vinyl and also the album. Despite getting rid of nearly all of my vinyl, I will never part with this.
Came across this album when the film Scum came out. There was a promo film for the album and we all rushed into town to buy it the next day. Saw Jimmy Lindsay at the Queensway Hall in dunstable about a year later supported by Steel Pulse
I saw the film back in the 70's, it was a short film before the main event. I next day I started my search, by foot, bus and tube and found it first day. I still like to listen to it. The violin mixing to reggae base. Classic and timeless. 👌
One of my favourite ever artists, lovers rock, he is a legend and where is your love is my favourite all time song. i have the red vinyl 12 version which i got off ebay and it is amazing, the violin intro at the beginning goes on for ages, i love this so much and so many memories
My all time favourite artist and my all time favourite song, makes me cry with emotions Where Is Your Love extended version, the start of it.... :) amazing i have a red vinyl copy of the 12 where is your love which i bought in the early 80's i treasure it ::P)
No it definitely wasn’t. I had the green vinyl 12”. The film was to launch the track and showed him leaving a woman after she dumped his stuff out the window
