Thank you so much! It's a rock/metal-oriented bass as construction (i.e. if you look at the pickups position), but it could be suitable for other genres as well, since the clean sound isn't bad at all. I'd say 8/10, also given the price. It's not the bass of your life -or maybe yes if you're lucky :D - but you surely won't have regrets if in the end you find out that fanned frets or these "modern" basses aren't your cup of tea
Awesome cover! I 'm thinking of getting the same bass, sounds dope here! Do you think it could stand drop E ? X'D what do you tune it to and strings you use?
Thanks! I never tuned lower than G/G#, but I guess it's possible to tune in E0 with a little bit of work on the setup. At the moment I'm using d'addario extra long .135 (for 35" scale, which suits well), but I'd recommend to use fanned fret strings if you have the chance, overall if you are tuning that low :)
@@zedkent4287 just be sure that it's tapered to fit in the bridge saddle. If you mean about tension, I don't think you'll have troubles, the neck on mine is pretty firm (it has a double truss rod)
@@gvr568 Hi again ! still with the 5 version on the gear4music basket ... GAS attacking. How do you compare in quality feeling compared with the Squier Jazz bass ? (saw one of your videos using it, and I owned one so just to know what to expect to something known for me) best regards !
@@dankof If you mean the finishes I'd say that the Squier has better ones (vintage modified, don't know about the affinity). But I wouldn't compare other features, they're totally different instruments
Hey, signal chain details are in the description. I used the onboard 3-way eq to shape the clean tone (flat bass/high and slight boost on mids). Overdriven sound is provided by the darkglass b3k
Considering buying one of these basses, would you recommend it overall? Does it feel good in the hands, or can you tall it's a $400 and under bass? Great cover!
Thanks man! Material and constructions are pretty good. Just some minor issues which can be easily fixed (nut, tuners). Everything else is on point. Imo it's a good buy for the price, if you are looking for a multiscale but you don't want to pay a fortune
@@gvr568 awesome!! Did the fretboard need any work at all? The things you noted I'd definitely be able to work with a bit but at the moment don't have means of fretboard work
Hi! You rocks!! I am very interested in that bass, can i ask you how much does it weight? Also can you tell me what you don't like about that bass if there is something you don't like of course! Thank you so much, keep crushing!!!
Hey, thanks! It weights between 4.5/5kg, can't be more precise now, but surely average for a 6strings. Weak spots could be nut and tuners, their quality seems not the best imo. Onboard preamp (not pickups) is slightly noisy, but nothing so relevant. Everything is more than compensated by the low price, since none of these issues affect significantly the playability and, if necessary, they all could be fixed with little expense. Cheers! \m/
Get loads more vids up of this bass dude!
WHAT A beast it is!
Thanks man, will do for sure!
ONE OF THE BEST DEMOS great music fucking good!
Could you do a review of the bass I'm so tempted by it
Would really like to have enough time to do a proper video review hahah... Just ask whatever you want, I'll be glad to answer
Giulio Abaddon is it worth it? I’m looking for a 6 string and noticed this model but I have found very little information on wether it’s good or not.
@@eliasaltman4439 IMHO it's definitely worth it. Unfortunately I'm not paid by gear4music to give these advices :D

in conclude scale from one to ten, ,how was that bass :D ?

Hi mate, sick video!! Did you noticed sharped frets ? I own the previous REDSUB INF4 and the frets are really sharp on the neck. Thanks beforehand !
Hi! No sharped frets as I can notice on my bass. But I never tried other Coliseums or INFs, so maybe I've been lucky
@@gvr568 thanks for responding !! Do you know if D'addario superlong fits the scale for the 5th? Thanks and best regards !
@@dankof cheers mate. D'addario superlong fit, but the 5th is right on the edge of the nut, so I prefer using fanned strings

Question, that's the bass default tone? or did you use some pedal in when you were playing?
PD: Nice test dude!

Thank you! It's purple burl burst, the only color available for the 6-strings version of this bass atm

Sounds like a dingwall
Yes, I'm surprised too how close it can get to the dingwall tone
