This came out AMAZING!! In today's video we finish up the RB26/engine bay restoration on the R32 GTR! We completely painted the engine bay, engine block, and RB26 cover to really make underneath the hood POP! This GTR is about to be AMAZING!!

Dude you need to have SoS do a repaint on the exterior, same color just freshen it up because the engine bay pops now
I don't mind another meguiars detailing episode lol
Polish, PPF, and ceramic coating so no worries when this beast is at the track
Zach Plymale I thought Meguiars already detailed this once and that was their best work to get out the scratches. Figure with the age of the car there might not be much clear coat left.
@@Reaper3088 yeah they did a few months after he got the Skyline! Hopefully the clear coat is still thick enough for a safe compound and polish.
@@jdmkidk24 Cheaper to paint it, and get better results with fresh respray and coat of wax.
PPF is thousands, plus about 2k for a proper detail and ceramic.

serious question. if your building an r32 of this caliber why not remove the engine to paint the bay
I love dustins videos, but it's quite frankly laziness, they painted the engine block whilst the engines in, and then they paint the bay with the engine in also, why not just remove it 🤦♂️

Subaru Impreza 1996 has an Aegean blue as well. Looks super similar. My car is that self same color.
Some gold hardware in the engine bay would look sick too. Not a lot, but very subtle hints of gold 👌🏻

I used AirCraft Stripper on a bike not long ago. It didn't do jack squat. I used the liquid form and even wrapped it up in plastic like a body shop would. The paint on car parts must not be very good at all
