Simon, I've watched this a number of times since the late 1960's and think it is great but what has also got me was the music; the jazz numbers when the guests are dancing. At first you don't really pay attention to them ( naturally, considering the content of the movie ) but when you listen closer they have an appealing taste. My favorite part of the movie! The normalcy of the couples dancing to lovely smooth jazz before a flickering fire - just outside Nan’s room! It seems comforting, doesn’t it? Then when she leaves her room mere minutes later, they are all gone, the music off!

I did have all the enhanced black and white versions but had a dispute with TH-cam about "re-used content", I had to remove all the black and white movies I had enhanced as they didn't show enough work done from the original versions. Gutted really, took me 100s of hours!
I have not watched this movie yet however I am a huge fan of these older types of movies. Just wanted to mention that. I had to smile when I read in the description an apology for the way this older and emphasising the word older movie is portrayed. I think we forget how spoilt we are in these present times on the quality a movie is presented. Taking into account that these older movies put far more effort into creating atmosphere without the modern day tools at hand. And appreciating the work that goes into raising the quality of the film and how it is currently presented.

No problem at all, I hope you enjoy it. I do the work myself from home with an RTX4090, Ryzen9 CPU, 64GB RAM and AI licensed software. Colorisation is never perfect but I do my best. I have also restored the same movie in 4K at 60fps, link is in the description should you not enjoy the colorisation.
Thanks. I've been looking for this in color everywhere.
No problem, glad you found it :)
Thank you for the work you do! I love these films. I'm on lookout for this one and you delivered.
It's my pleasure, I'm glad you found it and enjoyed it, thank you for watching :)
Thank you!! I don’t think I’ve ever seen this movie in colour! 🎥🍿
Thank you for watching :) I hope you enjoyed it :)
@@SimonWard1 it was amazing to see it in colour!! 👍
People were so polite and made an effort then, isn’t it charming to hear the words ‘ I’ll put a record on so people can dance’. My parents era and so very much missed.
This is excellent a very good movie and great to see it in colour
Thankyou for sharing 👍
Glad you enjoyed it and thank you for your kind words :)
GREAT to see this in color
Thanks so much for showcasing this great movie. I lost my B&W vcr movie in an apartment fire in 2017...such a classic movie. You made my day. 🙏.
I'm so sorry to hear that you had a fire and lost possessions. I'm glad I have enhanced a movie that you enjoy. Thank you for watching and I will do my best to add more, hopefully some more for you to enjoy :)
Cristopher Lee? whoe. Great colorization work...good fleshtones,.excellent.Older movies are soo much better than the blood and gore of modern films. Seems the older flicks could keep you gluded to the seat with suspense and anticipation, whereas newer films today want to make you physically ill to raise the fear emotion with the audience. Thank you for posting, good work, much appreciated.
Thank you for posting such atmospheric, retro horror classic!! The colorized version is awesome, nonetheless the B&W copy perhaps could add a more gothic touch!!!..
Excellent work Simon!!
Thank you🎉
No problem at all, thank you for watching and for your kind words. I'm not sure if you have watched it yet, but I restored this movie into black and white in 4K and 60fps here th-cam.com/video/4MozeAso__M/w-d-xo.html If you haven't already watched it, you might really enjoy it :)
Thank you for this Movie, love this👍
My pleasure, glad you enjoyed it, thank you for watching :)
Great film and thanks for colorize it (it actually made it more interesting and unnatural)!
Glad you enjoyed it! Thank you for watching. You will also find the black and white version in the description should you like to see it in it's original but enhanced form.
Hi Simon , thanks for this upload and your hard work , it really turned out well.
Glad you enjoyed it, thank you for your kind words and for watching :)
@@SimonWard1 , You are very welcome .
A great restoration. It’s a truly wonderful comedy. The ending is hilarious with the cross and bad acting. Gets me every time.
The quality of this film is fantastic! Would love to see all the black and white movies with Vincent price and Peter cushion, Christopher lee etc… thanks for the upload 😊⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Thank you for a lovely positive comment, greatly appreciated and glad you enjoyed it. I did have all the enhanced black and white versions but had a dispute with TH-cam about "re-used content", I had to remove all the black and white movies I had enhanced as they didn't show enough work done from the original versions. Gutted really, took me 100s of hours!
The soundtrack is so dark and foreboding.
Great Job Simon ,Thanks !
Thank you and thank you for watching :)
Nice movie I like old style story with Interesting concept I enjoyed it. It's wonderful to watch old classic horror in such nice quality.
I love this movie.... Thanks alot ....please upload more movies.... Horror... 60,70,80 era.... Thanks alot
Probably the best colorized movie I've seen. Nice job! 😊
Thank you!! 😊 Glad you liked it :)
You have not watched the movie and yet you comment?
Is it safe to come out from under my blankie? That was a scary film.
Cute 😂😂❤
Thanks dude this was awsome reminded me of my youth and the great horror movies of the 50/60s
What an incredibly atmospheric film. I almost wonder if Moz watched this when he was a youngster.
Would really love to see any christopher lee dracula movies if you could please
Unfortunately, I can't find Dracula in the public domain for Christopher Lee, if you can find anything at archive.org/search?query=christopher+lee let me know and I will enhance it for you.

No problem at all, thank you for watching :)

Great Movie Thank You!
I've just subbed! Had never seen this movie, but what an experience! So glad that I'm watching it in the month of April, well past Feb 1st and March 3rd!! Thank you for your hard work! I've seen enough older movies to recognize how much effort you have expended here. Bravo! 👏👏👏
Thank you so much for subscribing and for your kinds words, greatly appreciated and glad you enjoy the work I'm doing. Thank you :)
Loved the movie! The actors were excellent I am a fan of the guy who was that famous vampire actor can't remember his name but has seen all his movies keep showing these great old classic movies thanks🤗
Brilliantly done and great film. I've been looking for 'The Sentinel' starring Chris Sarandon, another fantastic film x
Thank you for your kind words and for watching, I'm glad you enjoyed it. Unfortunately, The Sentinel is under copyright with Universal Pictures, so I wouldn't be able to work on it for an enhanced upload. I did have a look around and it is available on Sky Store and Amazon Prime. I always try to find a request on TH-cam first but nothing came up.
@@SimonWard1 you're very welcome and thanks for the info
I like the pastel powder blue ears. Nice touch!👏
Excellent, thank you❤
You're welcome 😊
