How. . . I searched how to make limiting straps and this was the first result. How is it someone doing what i was alread thinking of doing ON A ZJ JUST LIKE MINE!? lol, nicely done sir!
These ones held up surprisingly well for just having one bolt jam through them. I ended up having some flat bar cut with two holes for the future. I had to change up the suspension a bit so I'll have to remake them anyway
@@FarmRoadBilt exactly. Figure on average of $50 a pop for just your average basic strap. I change my setup around so much that I would end up buying new straps all the time and I couldn't justify that cost
Spend the extra 60 bucks, man. C'mon. Time is money and obviously you have skills so just work and spend the money. Use the time. You'll come out on top. How much to fill the tank?
why would I do that..? these ones have 4 passes of web, completely adjustable, and cost me about 10 bucks to get the anchors... they actually have 2 bolts and a 1/4 piece of plate on each side clamping it together.
I have a sewing machine that's capable of sewing through that much webbing. I bet I can make 1 limit strap in about 10 minutes if I go really slow and it'll cost $10. And I"ll have the satisfaction of making my own stuff.
Very nice, looks like I know what I’m doing this weekend

Perfect!
I did the same with mine but only with 2” nylon slings. Sandwiched the ends with two pieces of 1/8 using 3 bolts

@@MegaMarclar looks great dude. I dont see the point spending 500$ on straps. At least thats how much it cost me.

How long have they held up?
