  • Join us for a FSMA Chat on April 4, 2023, at noon Eastern Time. The topic will be the FSMA Final Rule on Requirements for Additional Traceability Records for Certain Foods (Food Traceability Rule), which establishes traceability recordkeeping requirements, beyond those in existing regulations, for persons who manufacture, process, pack, or hold foods included on the Food Traceability List (FTL).
The discussion will cover available resources for the Food Traceability Rule (FTR), its relationship to FDA New Era of Modern Food Safety CORE Element 1, and how the FDA is planning for the rule’s implementation. Once the FTR is fully implemented, it will allow for faster identification and more rapid removal of potentially contaminated food from the market, resulting in fewer foodborne illnesses.
Please see the below links/short summaries; let us know if there are any questions!
