NO!!! The term "MU Locomotive" by FRA definition does not mean two units that are connected in what most people think is a couple locomotives that have been MU'd. By definition in the CFR, "MU Locomotive" refers to an electric locomotive that consists of multiple units - think of a light rail train in a city, for example... by definition, that is what an "MU Locomotive" is. It absolutely does NOT refer to two locomotives that are hooked together with the MU cable and MU hoses.
