Trying on some EyeBuyDirect frames that are good for a smaller and narrow face! I have a very low nose bridge and a narrow face so I always have a hard time finding frames that fit well. Hi there! Thanks for your informative video ~ Was wondering if you’re still wearing the Amity frames: what is the bridge height in mm (that is, the distance from the lens to the end of the built-in nose pads)? I’m on the verge of getting these for myself but am hesitant about the lenses potentially hitting my cheeks.

In case anyone else was wondering, I did end up getting them. The bridge height is about 8.5mm. I personally would’ve preferred over 10mm at least, as Amity do hit one of my cheeks when I smile big (I have a slightly uneven smile), but it’s definitely better than any other plastic frame I’ve worn so far.

I love how you brought this up. I have 2 plastic frames made in Korea and China: black one with 10mm nosepads and clear one with 11. Surprisingly the black pair stay put on my nose better + never touch my cheeks despite having taller lenses, because the *shape* of the nose bridge is not as flared out as my clear pair. Also my clear pair has 15mm distance between lenses, compared to 17mm of black glasses, and my cheeks still touch the bottom rim when I smile! So definitely pay attention to the angle of the nose bridge, as straighter/squarer shape sits higher than curved/flared out shape. I hope that makes sense 😅

Hey I can’t figure out how to send you a DM, so hopefully you’ll see this! How are you feeling about the Amity glasses after a year? Do they actually work for low nose bridges?! I have a very flat nose bridge as well, I’m really hoping it’ll work on me. Companies that advertise low bridge glasses like Warby Parker have let me down ☹️ they aren’t low enough. They’re like the white people’s interpretation of low bridge lol
