They’re plugs to cover screws. The fit into the hole above he screw head. Usually used on furniture. This gnomes are so cute.

OMGoodness, it's as if you've been spying on me! I made these exact glitter reindeer ornaments and also those yarn gnomes. Made 10 gnomes and sold them all at a market yesterday with an order for 12 more. I saw a video on TikTok several months ago and fell in love with them instantly. Absolutely love your videos - you are so thorough with your instructions and your projects are always top notch.
