Govt paying for empty rooms. That’s a small taste of govt inefficiency. That’s what happens when there’s no checks and balances and our debt being so high.
Henery, I had a similar experiences with my W2 employer and came to the same conclusion. "I never want to give somebody the power to put me in this position again." Im now thankful for that experience because it pushed me in the direction that I needed to be in. Thanks

@@noblecrawford3 Nobel. How much experience is necessary and would it just be real estate or STR? @@PolitikPolitik-fh2qc That's a great question! My response requires more time to answer with a level of detail that this platform doesn't provide. Short answer is... the more experience the better, but there are multiple ways to bring that experience to your company without "you" having it directly.
Hands down one of the best episodes I've seen. I'm definitely interested in pursuing this strategy. After seeing this, it appears as though you were named most appropriately. Thanks Noble!
Great question! I teach a strategy to keep expenses very low! Too much to detail here but hopefully BP will have me back to break down things in more detail.
I would like to have heard more detail on what he is acquiring. He says to provide in bulk; he mentions knowing how to furnish/service; and this is arbitrage where he leases after getting the contract. Where does one find 50+ doors they can lease, furnish, then sublease?
Thanks for your question. This is not always the case but in many markets you can find new development multifamily properties. When they're going through a lease up period, it can be an attractive option.
Of course the government is the one that pays the best in all jobs and contracts! He does not mention that you have to have experience and insurance and of course have contacts in the agencies! excellent information as always
Thanks for the comment! I mentioned briefly about the experience piece at 26:50. I always advise my students to carry a few different types of insurance. I agree that agency connections are beneficial. I think I mentioned it briefly but even as fast as I talk, it’s hard to fit everything into a 50 minute episode 😂
I worked in the DOD for 4 years and it is up to the individual “traveler” to book their own lodging. You have to have a really good relationship with the hospital/military training program so that they can recommend your place. These DOD travelers can always choose to stay in a hotel instead of
@@joshualewis8923 Well it depends. Sometimes if it's government sending you. they may have places set up that you go to. Especially for group trainings and such. I work as a sub and ya we typically just go to a hotel. But thats because we get reimbursed directly and it's not reimbursing the company getting paid. He sounds more like he's talking about reoccuring trips that are pre-determined. And not more transient trips.
So basically, our government is inefficient and it’s up to us, the people, to take advantage of that to get our hard earned tax dollars backs.

You need to be in business for 2 years and have 25k in annual revenue to become a vendor.
That seems like an important detail for them to leave out 🙄
Where did you learn about that requirement?
Thanks for the comment. I've helped entities less than six months old. It can be done. ;-)
@@MrJacobegg A seasoned company can be good but there is no specific age required for an entity.
