We just booked room 8206 Magic Carpet & your video really helped me understand the room. We're doing the TransAtlantic next October from South Hampton. I can't wait!
That means a lot to us. We are learning and growing as go and it honestly brightens our day when we receive comments like yours. Thanks for watching and commenting. Hope you continue to enjoy the content. Emma & Jack
Hope yal are doing well!!!! Who knows, we never know what is going to come our way! Sorry for the delay in reply we have been traveling for a couple weeks.
I can't believe it. I am in the same stateroom on the January 21st cruise. Great to see the actual cabin I am in. Lover your guys posts. Ops, I am on the Ascent, not Apex. Should be similar, I am hoping.
Thanks for an informative review. We are on Apex with a "Guaranteed Suite" so I'm guessing we'll end up in one of the Sky Suites. I was thinking we'd be assigned a Magic Carpet Sky Suite because of the obstructed view and adjoining rooms (a negative as far as I'm concerned) but your review really eased my concerns. I almost hope we get the same type of room as you reviewed.
Hi, I loved your video!! Thanks for sharing it! We just booked the Apex for next July, and we are staying in the exact same room as you stayed 8210. How did you like the room? It looks beautiful. My only concern is hearing the noise of the magic carpet going up and down as we will be on the ship for 2 weeks. Also, did you find the closet annoying at all? It looks like it's right next to the bed. We have had that before, and I found it very frustrating trying to get in and out. I wish it was more along the wall when you walk in. How did you like the balcony? We are going to Norway and the Arctic Circle, so even though it's a bit obstructed, it might be good for the cold destinations. Less cold and wind. Anyway, now that you have sailed in that room, I would love your feedback on what you loved and what you might not have liked so much. Thank you so much!!!
Thanks so much for watching. We loved the room especially the balcony. A lot bigger than other Sky Suites! We did a sky suite on the apex as well to Norway! The biggest differences between the magic carpet sky suite and sky suite is the size of the balcony (magic carpet bigger) and the sky suite bed faces the windows. I don’t think we loved the closet next to the bed but it definitely wasn’t a deal breaker! The balcony and the different perspective was totally worth it! Should definitely block some wind. We only saw the magic carpet I think twice in a week! And it definitely made a noise but nothing crazy! And when it does go by no one is on it so you don’t have to worry if your blinds are opened. Hope you have a fantastic trip to Norway! Past the arctic circle is very fun! We just did that over Christmas but on a very small Norwegian line. Thanks for watching Live a Little Emma & Jack
Retreat will always be better than Concierge. Not only are the cabins larger and nicer, you also get the benefit of all the Retreat has to offer (lounge, bar, Luminae restaurant and a private pool and deck).
It was amazing meeting him as he actually came up to us and said he saw our channel before his cruise. Not sure on the financial stuff because picked his brain on content creation and everything TH-cam algorithm. But pretty sure he pays for his trips himself. Emma & Jack
Honestly we had no problem with it. It is loud when it does move but they only move it while in port and just during daytime hours. It moved maybe 2-3 times during our entire trip. For the benefit of the price and a huge balcony it is definitely not an issue. Also no people are allowed on it while it is moving so no privacy issues.

Thank you for showing that step into the bath, I’m also 5 feet and sometimes that step is a little high.
You are so welcome!

Think we need to try “Celebrity “.👍🏻
Hey guys! It’s your friends from NC. We’re doing the Apex from 3-1 thru 3-8, 2025. Who knows? Maybe we’ll see you then🤞
Hope yal are doing well!!!! Who knows, we never know what is going to come our way! Sorry for the delay in reply we have been traveling for a couple weeks.

This is probably our favorite room. We would book it Everytime if we could!
Let us know if it is the same on the ascent!

So I am in this stateroom on the Apex in August, when I am doing a fjord cruise - will let you know about the ascent@@lindsayslivealittle

Thank you for the information, we’re considering a cruise on the Apex. So do you think the Retreat cabins are better then the Concierge cabins?

@@lindsayslivealittle Thank you!
I guess you caught a siting of Briggs in the wild. 👍Is that dude rich or does he get gigantic discounts on cruises for being a TH-cam creator?
It was amazing meeting him as he actually came up to us and said he saw our channel before his cruise.

We prefer the Solstice and Millennium class ships. More intimate Luminae restaurant and less glitsy ship.
We have heard that but haven’t had the opportunity yet to try the other class ships of Celebrity.

was the magic carpet a pain
