@@yuanliu7654 yes. its a build many use with him. I would argue its often temporary as zephyr isnt a mech most use long term, but the build is good and can be used effectively for other mechs too.
Great stuff, as always Scape! Another hybrid build that works at 16 energy is a mix of MR8 and Carbine 8 (I did see your MR8 carbine 10 build later in the video). I love that you had the torrent 10 thermal 6 mix, since I use that alot, and I would also do the carbine 12 thermal 6 as well (and think that it is demonstrably better than carbine 12 + 6 rpg). Though once I got my zephyr from 18 to 20 energy, i could go from carbine 12 thermal 6 to carbon 12 + carbine 8 (since I don't have carbine 10) which was better. But so many good choices on zephyr! I am currently trying to double my torrent 10 for zephyr, but I am lacking blueprints and don't want to waste acoins on them yet. Im at 5 star level 5, so I am just two little upgrades away. I have the resources to do it even without the blueprints, but I am saving resources for the new weapons as well.
Totally understand on the arc10 upgrades. I try not to use acoins when I don't have to, but I usually have to after 6 stars. The blueprints for each level are just way too high! As for the thermal vs RPG on the carb12 build I think both work well and tend to be a matter of preference. TBH I don't use the RPG6 a ton as a side arm, but I know some who do it well with zephyr so I wanted to have one build in there with it. And since this build was about corner shooting and control it seemed to fit there better than the thermal. Both are solid though so great choice!
@@scape211 true about the corner shooting with thermal vs rpg, but with that little damage for each, at least the thermal benefits 50% extra damage for your teammates! And I suppose MR6 could fill that gap as well for 18 energy, not 16, like an rpg 4 could. You did mention the splash damage at least. But basically, I had found carbine 12 thermal 6 to be a great build like torrent 10 thermal, only bettered by a higher upgrade of zephyr to hold a better carbine or Missile rack than thermal. Anyway, zephyr is so good with so many setups, that you did a great job to try and cover as many good ones as you could in a shorter amount of time!

I'm still running Burst Ambusher(AT10/ MR8) on Zephyr even though I'm at EN20....I just love this build! I even have the same loadout on My Ares. I call the The Twins.... Some of you may remember the movie... Lol
16 energy = arc 10/ thermal lance 6 18 energy = arc 10/ missile rack 8 20 energy = arc 10/ arc 10 24 energy = carbine 12/ carbine 12 24 energy = railgun 16/ missile rack 8 I would personally move both arc 10 to killshot. Its just insane.
I have done that on killshot, but find the carb12/arc10 mix work great on both killshot and zephyr. Dual arc10s can be nice as killshot likes to be close too though.
@@scape211 Can you max the Arc 6 on the test account? I cant find a video anywhere on it. And the database doesnt have maxed stats. Arc is my favorite weapon. Im not so sure its worth maxing out for shadow though.
@@throbinhood6930 unfortunately the test server it’s closed. They only open it for a limited time to content partners here and there. That said, I don’t really think the arc6 is worth maxing out. Ideally you will get shadow to max and use a 16 energy build like the arc10/thermal6.
Great video! I also like running railgun 16 with just 16 energy. This is a much better investment than dual carb 8s and its devastating, assuming you have the energy to take your shots when you need them.
Agreed but most times when people get zephyr, they don’t have Railgun yet at 16 energy. I have run it before though and it can be good as it covers a lot of range and quite strong.
I love using dual shotgun 8 on my zephyr. Great for using on multiple targets that you have stunned. I got a 3 in one kill multiple times because of it.
About the Mid game burst ambusher Its unnecessary to upgrade zephyr to 18 energy Just use missile rack 6 and arc torrent 10 It is great for free to play ants
Zephyr is off limits now. I recently saw and got killed multiple times by a zephyr with rack 8 and 12, a common thing. But it had the implant which increases the entire radius of the ability so it juat kept running up to my entire team and emp'd everything within 80 meters diameter. And the zephyr had cooldown reduction implant so it had like 6 sec cooldown. Those implants need a nerf, but even a zephyr without them needs a nerf. What the heck counters it? Nothing. Short cooldown, relatively quick, low armor but it doesnt need it since it can just ambush and you cant fight back. In game it says "prime target" because it really is, but you cant do anything to it either way.
Hey scape I'm currently have 12000 exp and I'm doing tournament and I'm in 9 place is it bad to be in 9th spot because all the other guys have redux,surge and apparently carbines so I hope I'm in a decent spot against these guys because I cant win every game because off more leveled player can you tell me a way to get exp.
if you are a person who spends money, carbine 8s can be very nice to get as they come ready to roll as dual copies out of the box. The carbine 10s are decent, but I don't see them on the field a ton. Most focus on dual copying the carbine 12s for end game so for me the order of importance goes: Carb12, Carb8 (if you buy them), then carb10. If you don't plan to spend, I would skip the carb8s and see if you can go straight to the 12s or if you need to get the 10s beforehand. All are very useful weapons though.
Did you not put arc 6 and 10 in for a starter build or did I miss it? I know it doesn't really become super good until u get the range upgrade but even vanilla is strong. Indoor and maps where the enemies group its pretty much game over
No I didn't because it's not one I use and question if it's worth getting the arc6 for. By the time the arc6 and even the mr6 become available, so does the mr8 and they are all really close in cost. Between the 3, mr8 is the best and will last you to end game. Arc6 has a limited use window so it's not one I often recommend. The arc10/6 build will do more damage than the arc10/tl6 build, but I think it's fairly close for zephyr and the tl6 has more value later on. That's mainly why I picked it here. That said, the arc6 is very good early game.

Yea i felt like changing the format after I got a new device and had to fill the black bars space. It worked nicely and allowed for more info on screen to make it easier to find what you want. Glad you enjoy it!
Here's an idea: Assuming that you also have missile rack 8 (probably on Guardian/Panther) you can use Zephyr - Missile Rack 8 and Arc Torrent 6 AND still be able to have Missile Rack 8 and Arc Torrent 6 on any other Mech! (From my experience it more or less has the same DPS)
I’m torn as to whether to upgrade zephyr or ares to five stars to accommodate carbine 10+8s, with the non-upgraded mech to run Arc Torrent 10+6. I see that the AT build is more popular on Zephyr than Ares which would suggest I should upgrade Ares, plus it seems like better value - his HP increases by more and his shield gets a buff too. But I’ve had good results using AT on Ares instead and running carbines on Zephyr. Plus Zephyr seems to be more widely acknowledged as a top mech that is worth upgrading. Its a hard call

Hey scape! I was waiting quite a while for the new upload cuz I wanna tell ya something. Y'all know HeatGrudge/Grudgenaut right? In one of his old vids, he used a peculiar build on his juggy, a MR8/LA10. It was probably an experimental build but I decided to give it a go on my panther And it was dope, wayy better than I expected it to perform. I got godlikes after godlikes against players as the same/higher SP as me. It's pretty fun as well. Also, I finally have 6.8k acoins and will have 8k by then end of the week so I'm set to buy the Carb12🥳🥳. And I have 550k creds so I can also buy the Zephyr. Just need to grind XP for a bit
Yes he has made some great videos! I am subbed to him too. I found that build to work well on Juggy as well as I believe I included it in my Juggy loadout video. It takes a little getting used to, but it covers a lot of ground.
Yo use the snipers on something like panther or arachnos, zephyr shines best at close to medium range combat. If you use long range weapons, you will not gain much value from it's ability.
And there is one fun fact about Zephyr and missile racks. When I use missile rack on any other mech it does the actual damage which about 3k but when I use it on zephyr the damage done is about 5k and critical hit does about 7k damage. I don't know about others but I regularly experience this👀
I assume you are freezing a guy then moving to the side or back? If so that's the proper way to play zephyr when possible and will give you more damage.
@@scape211 No that isn't what happens I do 5k damage in the front and 7k to 8k from the back that what I don't understand it only happens with Zephyr 🥴
@@scape211 And sometimes when the connection between the servers are low and if my network suddenly drops generally more damage is done by all weapons.it is a glitch I think due to low server connection or network problems but it is useful at times
My carbine 8s are at 6 star lvl3, but I don't use them a ton at this level. Most 8 energy weapons I don't use. Try carbine 12 and shotgun 4. It’s one of THE best combos I’ve ever used. I rank it third on my list before arc 10 and carb 12 and dual carb 12

When I unlocked Zephyr I equiped dual missile racks
I have both killshot and zephyr at 16 energy so I use missle rack 8 on killshot and disc launcher 8 on zephyr

Here's an idea: Assuming that you also have missile rack 8 (probably on Guardian/Panther) you can use Zephyr - Missile Rack 8 and Arc Torrent 6 AND still be able to have Missile Rack 8 and Arc Torrent 6 on any other Mech! (From my experience it more or less has the same DPS)
I’m torn as to whether to upgrade zephyr or ares to five stars to accommodate carbine 10+8s, with the non-upgraded mech to run Arc Torrent 10+6. I see that the AT build is more popular on Zephyr than Ares which would suggest I should upgrade Ares, plus it seems like better value - his HP increases by more and his shield gets a buff too. But I’ve had good results using AT on Ares instead and running carbines on Zephyr. Plus Zephyr seems to be more widely acknowledged as a top mech that is worth upgrading. Its a hard call

In one of his old vids, he used a peculiar build on his juggy, a MR8/LA10. It was probably an experimental build but I decided to give it a go on my panther
And it was dope, wayy better than I expected it to perform. I got godlikes after godlikes against players as the same/higher SP as me. It's pretty fun as well.
Also, I finally have 6.8k acoins and will have 8k by then end of the week so I'm set to buy the Carb12🥳🥳. And I have 550k creds so I can also buy the Zephyr. Just need to grind XP for a bit
Yes he has made some great videos! I am subbed to him too. I found that build to work well on Juggy as well as I believe I included it in my Juggy loadout video. It takes a little getting used to, but it covers a lot of ground.
My Zephyr uses Longarm 8 and is a sniping BEAST!
Yo use the snipers on something like panther or arachnos, zephyr shines best at close to medium range combat. If you use long range weapons, you will not gain much value from it's ability.

And there is one fun fact about Zephyr and missile racks. When I use missile rack on any other mech it does the actual damage which about 3k but when I use it on zephyr the damage done is about 5k and critical hit does about 7k damage. I don't know about others but I regularly experience this👀
I assume you are freezing a guy then moving to the side or back? If so that's the proper way to play zephyr when possible and will give you more damage.
@@scape211 No that isn't what happens I do 5k damage in the front and 7k to 8k from the back that what I don't understand it only happens with Zephyr 🥴
@@scape211 And sometimes when the connection between the servers are low and if my network suddenly drops generally more damage is done by all weapons.it is a glitch I think due to low server connection or network problems but it is useful at times

Yeah that build is pretty good. Or MR8&6 - not as damaging but can be at greater distance and synergises better with the pilot buff

My carbine 8s are at 6 star lvl3, but I don't use them a ton at this level. Most 8 energy weapons I don't use.
