The scene with Daemon kneeling and calling her his queen, funny, I remember seeing something similar in the season 1 finale when he crowned her, bend the knee and called her his queen. But yes, an entire season wasted with him having useless dreams, milking the GOT/Dany hype even though we know how it ended, only to end up in the exact same place as he already was truly is a great plot. They finished s1 with them getting ready for war and now a season later they are… getting ready for war lmao

I've enjoyed the season, and I liked the finale. The Harrenhal storyline was Daemon being forced to face his inner demons and get back on track. Several outstanding characters were introduced this season: Alyn and Addam of Hull, Ser Simon Strong, Alys Rivers, and young Oscar Tully.
Angela (a lovely name, by the way) remember they were filming last year during the writers and actors strikes. There was little they could do on the story without the writers in the room. They did come back and do some reshoots, but nothing more. And remember too this was a bifurcated season. This is 2A and they will be going back in October (this according to Matt Smith) to begin filming 2B. So technically, this will be a 16 episode season 2. All the warring and dragon stuff will be in 2B. I'm okay with waiting. It'll be worth it. I always love your reactions, but the one thing I have to know is where did you get your stemless wineglasses? I need a set of those. Thanks in advance.
Love that Daemon got a vision of Dany. Tho makes me sad at the same time because we know what a train wreck bad writing did to her. maybe as a fun surprise they plan on fixing it who knows? Daemon and Rhaenyra were the best in their scenes. When she's almost crying saying " You sound like my father" my heart 😢😢 and "leave me again at your peril." " I cannot I've tried' stop it they are cute. also same Caraxes I enjoy pig as well.
17:57-18:05 "what we need, in this moment, is a King" As you said "why?" What went through my mind was when Rhaenyra presented "You had Dragon Riders, Father. Send us." (She was ready then to lead the battle, she wouldn't ask others to go in her stead) 18:11-18:14 The look Daemon gave him, to me was about on par with "If you were worth my effort, I'd knock you on your ass for that." 25:59-26:12 Please note the Queens Guard in the background preparing to draw his sword before Jace "diffuses" the situation a bit with words. Ulf could have been dead before the Queen intervened, if Jace didn't make the effort to calm the situation. Which is clearly challenging for him as he has seen little respect from Ulf the sanctimonious. 27:07-27:10 "What was that?" The closest I could see in this light would be a Satyr, part goat part man, Old Earth (Greek) mythology. Most commonly recognized figure of this type would be Pan, a demi- or -lesser deity. I don't know if that's what it was or was based on, or just a congruence of features to make me think of it. (When I was younger I learned a lot about several mythologies, the most readily accessible being Greek, Norse and Egyptian.) 31:30-31:42 R: "Leave me again, at your peril" D: "I could not. I have tried" Can we please have an acknowledgement that he just admitted trying to leave (betray) her and he cannot? In all honesty he just said "I tried to take what is yours, I was wrong, I can't do that." (Even if it's the words of the moment, I believe that he believes he can't do that again)
That island was the island of faces on the lake called the God's eye. That island has weir tree on it. That island is the place where the children of the forest and the 1st men made peace.
The episode itself is good but it was not what should have been the season finale. It really did feel like there should've been at least 1 more episode, especially since we have to wait 2 years for season 3.
Kind of. "In the television adaptation House of the Dragon, Lohar is merged with Racallio Ryndoon and the character's sex has been changed to female; though she personally identifies as a woman, her society genders her as a man because of her leadership role. She is portrayed by Abigail Thorn"
Wow! What a season. Guess we'll have to count down to 2026. At least we will have "A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms" to hold us over. The series should be good.
She's an amazing book character, but you saw this season. There is no time for another character out of nowhere. Daemon getting with her after this isn't an option when they introduced the visions. GRRM introduced the Song of Ice and Fire vision is season 1, this is just the natural progression of story deviation from that point.
this season was just trash daemon did nothing all season apart from getting high thought we was going to get a epic dragon battle but we got 2 people wrestling in mud
Yeah, Alicent taking this route makes her irredeemable in my eyes. It feels like even trying to leave at all feels like she's trying to avoid consequences for the part she's played, and she has absolutely hit the gas on this conflict ever since Rhaenyra's kids were born. Rhaenyra and Alicent's bitterness and resentment for each other for 20 years is now costing lives left and right. Having a scene where even one of them is like, "LET'S RUN AWAY TOGETHER, FORGET ALL THIS.", is completely insane, and genuinely bad writing. Very hard to believe the person that wrote that scene between those two also wrote the Criston and Alyn dialogue.
Who was running away with each other? Alicent was hoping to stop blood shed. She initially wanted to run and hide, instead she chose to attempt diplomacy.
@@cryocian7214 Rhaenyra and Alicent were childhood friends and even after all that’s happened, they still have some love for each other. They’ve both changed and been affected by the patriarchal society they live in. They both didn’t want the Dance of Dragons to happen. Alicent wants to stop the war in the best possible way. When Alicent asked Rhaenyra to come with her, it’s a call back to the page about Nymeria.
I agree with you. Some may try to justify it but it’s genuinely bad writing. Alicent was never a good mom but it was her protectiveness and love for her children that drove her to push for Aegon on the throne, because she feared for his life, and his siblings. This is not the same woman that stood in front of a dragon to shield her son. Aegon’s by no means a good person, but to sacrifice the son who didn’t even kill Luke, didn’t want the throne, lost his own child, and is now crippled and burnt… and wanting to be “free” and “her true self” after it all? I’m glad it won’t be working out for her, ultimately. So nonsensical, that whole scene was.
Ulf is a jerk and I have a terrible feeling he's going to betray Rhaenyra. He just gave off nothing but bad vibes this episode. No respect at all. I hope Silverwing eats him lol.
I do worry that he won’t respect the thing that he’s been given. He already thinks he can take on Vhagar so he might get himself killed and we won’t have to worry about it anyway.
Cristan Cole is really going through it this episode giving us his realistic take on being a regular dude in the seven kingdoms during war with dragons. I'm also still wondering how many wives the Admiral has because Tyland was standing pretty tall at the end there lol...
I predict Tyland's gonna go missing for a while next season Tyland: "Ow. Ow. Oof." Lannister soldier: My Lord, where have you been? No one has seen you for three days. . . Why are you walking like that?" Tyland: 😁
I love that Adam said "Fuck right off." to Corlis. Some damn fine acting on display this episode. They really made me feel for even the worst of the players.
Love that you said “the dragon’s going to be in a cave not in a field picking its teeth with sheep’s bones,” then when she finally found it, it was in a field picking its teeth with sheep’s bones.” 🤣
I absolutely loved this season and am still amazed at how amazing the writing and performances are. I don't know what anyone is complaining about, this is one show where they take a long time to build up, but the pay off's are always worth the wait. I just wish we could get this level of writing in a Star Wars series.
Some HBO Executive meeting: “Well, it seems we’ve got a hit on our hands with House of The Dragon!! Huge viewership, lots of accolades, and a new franchise that will last for years!! How can we improve on this for season 2?’ Some Wanker Executive: ‘I know!! Only allow them 8 episodes, cut their budget virtually in half, and constantly interfere so that production becomes a bureaucratic nightmare!!’ Head of HBO: ‘Brilliant!! That makes prefect sense!!’.
HotD writers: "10 episodes, so 9 & 10 will be action packed." HBO execs: "let's cut 9 & 10 and leave the audience with blue balls. Thanks to the writers strike the writers can't change it!"
I feel bad for the showrunner and everyone involved in the show. Some fans have been complaining all season that there isn't enough action but that is the fault of WB/HBO/Max because they only gave them 8 episodes (instead of 10) and a limited budget. It's expensive AF to have 10+ dragons fighting and all the armies on top of that. The show deserved better after a phenomenal S1. I still thoroughly enjoyed this season but it's been a real bummer to see so many complaints.
I also thought it was a really good season. There wasn’t a ton of action on Game of Thrones all the time so it’s really interesting that they were expecting it with this. I think a lot of people want instant gratification and the show is going to be a slow build
i kinda get it i mean the advertising for this season was that "WAR IS COMING" and i think thats where they flunked it because it ended up still being "WAR IS COMING (but its slightly closer now)", i personally liked the season although the daemon thing could've been a bit shorter overall it was okay. people just didn't think season 2 would be more of the same buildup from season 1. What i really dont understand tho is that some people are comparing this to GOT season 8 and I mean WHAT? That is a truly unhinged take imho. Although if the thing about HBO only giving them 8 episodes is true, then yeah I understand the complaints a bit less. TL;DR It was fine and had its fair share of good moments.
@jeffblue19_2.0 that move by HBO/WBD, even after the numbers the first season drew, one of the best performers as a scripted show for the company, was dumbfounding. To then have the same thing occur with The Last Of Us season two, and the writers went through the same public reasoning for the shortened follow up season that Condal and Hess provided. WBD is something else.
This is such an unfair way to paint it. People aren’t mad because they need action, they’re mad because the character writing is extremely inconsistent and nothing between episodes matters.
Thank you so much for thinking of men’s health. I jokingly said I needed a weekend at Harrenhal, then I realized how that sounded 😅😅😬 It’s very nice and refreshing to see him face these things and grow forward from it.
Question: how exactly can he FORCE Helaena to Fight? Okay he might get her to Dreamfire even force her to Mount. But I fail to see how he can force her to use the word: Dracarus. Or to prevent her from simply flying away.
Lohar, Abigail Thorn, is a youtuber i heard so i think it’s cool she got to play a part in the show. I was also hoping, at the very least, that Rhaena would claim Sheepstealer. That would’ve been a nice touch when they showed everyone at the end with the epic music playing. I have loved the music in the while show!
Abigail Thorn: creator, writer, director and star of Philosophy Tube, co-host of Kill James Bond podcast, actress, voice actor, and all round legend. And absolutely stunning 😍
I thought this was a great episode with a ton of really great scenes, but man, it feels like the entire season built up the war that never actually came. They kept teasing the payoff and now we have to wait 2 years. Really could have used the additional 2 episodes. And while i found the Lannister scenes humorous, it seemed like something that could have fit better in another episode instead of taking up a good chunk of a finale on a side character and a completely new character.
13:14 "What are we looking at?" A very old lady who finally got to let loose in her small Dornish inspired arts-and-crafts hobby of turning cities to glass. ...and her highly impressionable rider.
LOL! Actually, if you only had queens, you'd still have bastards everywhere. Not only would the Queens themselves have relationships out of wedlock, like Rhaenyra did THREE TIMES, but also the Queen's sons and daughters would as well. People be people, regardless of who is running the show!!!😂
They wrote scripts for 2 more episodes for the season but were told late to cut the season down to 8. But then the writer's strike happened and then had to go into production without rewrites, which meant the season have to be cut without a finale! There were suppose to be a big battle (not sure if in the riverland or the sea battle in the Gullet) and seeing what happens with Team Black moving in to take King's Landing.
In LOTR Bilbo, after decades of corrupting influence of the Ring, says that he feels like too little butter was spread on too much bread. That's exactly what season 2 is like. At times, it's good, but so little happened in comparison to the first season, that it just is not good as a whole.
Heleanna can’t go to war? I mean what happens if the blacks storm the red keep? Aemond is the worst but in reality they are fighting for their lives (largely because of Alicent btw). Blacks have 8 dragons. Greens have 2 because Aemond foolishly took out Aegon and Heleanna is too busy counting bugs to care.
I could of done with another action scene.. But when you look at this season as a whole, the CGI/The action/The drama/characters/set pieces/amazing sets.. So much went into this season, like compare Seasons 1 and 2 to GoT 1 and 2.. everything is wildly more expensive, and I personally love the slower pace.. The last thing I want is a repeat of GoT seasons 5-8, the politics/characters are what I love in this universe! Keen for season 3 in 2026!
So there's a spinoff series next year... (read more for context spoiler/theory.) that might be based on an ancestor of Brienne of Tarth. Hah! I was just theorizing that she might have a distant relation to the Targaryens, but this has already become a listed wiki of ice and fire theory. Perhaps some vague detail about this will be worked into next years show.
So nobody mentions the fact that Larys said he moved the Treasury to Bravos? When Rhaenyra gets there she is not going to be broke. She didn't have anything in Dragonstone. Next season is going to be really bad . "Spoilers" the 3 eyed raven , Bryndon Rivers aka Bryndon Blackfyre, was seen in Daemon's final vision. Notice there were always a single bird in the sky (it seems purposely shown) in a few scenes. My theory is this is Bryndon Rivers watching and guiding
Bryndon Rivers is great grandson of Rhaenyra. He is not alive yet and won't be for almost a century. Only warg that is currently in the show is Alise Rivers the witch of Harrenhall. She also said that she is a barn owl in a human body. I think that Halaena might become the three eyed raven before Bryndon as she is only one who might be a green seer according to her prophetic dreams.
@@vojtam5063 Bryndon is the three eyed raven. And he is able to watch Things in the past. Remember, he taught Bran how to do it. They even showed Bryndon in this episode during the images in Daemon's vision. Yes I do know he is a bastard of Aegon the unworthy.
@rkatek72 Bryndon is not the first one in that position. There are many other seers on weirwood thrones in the caves under the great weirwood. Also, Bryndon, after centuries of being the three eyed raven, is less powerful than Bran after just a few lessons. You can tell that by the quality of visions or by that, he is not able to communicate with the past while Bran can literally warg a human. That's the other thing. Being able to see the past is one thing, but being able to warg something, for example, a bird in the past, is on a whole other level of power. Bran was called by Bryndon, because he was closed to being absorbed by the three and he himself was called by his contemporary when he was at the wall. My interpretation of the dream is that Alise, who is much older then she seems, is helping the current seer get his replacement and it might be Haleana, because she has prophetic or green dreams making her better candidate than Bryndon was.
Harrenhall was good for Daemon, it humbled him and showed him the reality of the situation with the future. Brynden Rivers aka the Three Eyed Raven, is the future great grandson of Daemon, the white walkers, I believe the massacre of the Dragon Pit, Daemon drowning in the Godseye, which is that body of water near Harrenhall that has the Isle of Face on it. The eggs in the fire could be Dany's eggs but I think it may be the Tragedy of Summerhall, which nearly wiped out the Targaryen line. This happened with the Mad King's grandfather and the Mad King was a young boy at this time. And the last Dany with her three dragons. Winter is coming. Ulf gives lowborn commoners a bad name. 🙄 And Rhaenyra has to take "care" of Aegon, whether she wants to or not, he's the leader of the opposition who usurp her crown. The people will never accept her if she doesn't not to mention he and his followers could be a possible problem in the future.
Baela basicaly became Rhaenys. You can see so much of her grandmother in the way she carries herself. She is was the voice of reason for Corlis when he wanted to sail off. And now she is doing the same for Jayce and you can feel Rhaenys' upbringing and influence on her. She basicallly tells them to suck it up and do what has to be done. I love that. She quickly became one of my favorite characters.
A bleak philosophy, but a realistic one. Even Jon Snow(AKA Aegon Targaryen) didn't keep to his oath given he was gathering information on the upcoming Wilding attack on The Wall. And Ned Stark lied to everyone about who Jon really was to protect him from Robert's wrath.
There is no team green any more they defected Now its just house good guys vs team pycho aemond. I cant believe good queen allysanes dragon picked that useless wasterel as a rider
The Triarchy does need Westerosi trade to prosper. They can sell goods at much higher prices in Westeros because the Seven Kingdoms forbid slavery. However, they are not solely dependent on that side of their trade, and this blockade to them only means a recession instead of starvation. Still, their claim that they do not need the blockade broken is very much just diplomacy, trying to maintain the perception of being the one who need the other less.
Fingers crossed HBO gets it together for season three. Two more episodes this season would have been awesome but I guess the budget for the planned ten episodes just wasn't there. So with 25 cliffhangers we go and wait.
I love how everyone complained about the last season of Game of Thrones for being rushed, but when they try to build the story slowly and develop the characters and the world in House of the Dragon to stay as true as possible to the book 'Fire and Blood,' people complain that the pacing is too slow. Guys, you need to make up your minds. Personally, I found this season better than the first one and I can't wait to see the next season.
Yes. The crybabies are out in full force. Action should not be the basis of any television series. It should exist only to serve the story being told. Do these people even have attention spans anymore?
"to stay as true as possible to the book 'Fire and Blood" that's not what they're doing at all. they're ignoring the story in the book and making up their own new story about rhaenyra and alicent being in love and alicent betraying her own children to save herself.
Okay so I'm wondering... am I the only one that thinks Alyn's armour is perhaps a little too elaborate for his position? I wonder if Corlys felt so much guilt that he finally acknowledged his sons.

man i didn't even think about the fact that aegon wasn't even going to be there to be killed... that's not going to be good for alicent
Daemon’s story line is great they are making him more human . . .
Only dragon that’s never had a rider is Sheepstealer, the dragon Rhaena is chasing.
Daemon and Rhaenyra head bump kiss all the time. Lol
Do people really expect Rhaenyra to win a war by never killing anyone??
17:57-18:05 "what we need, in this moment, is a King"
As you said "why?"
What went through my mind was when Rhaenyra presented "You had Dragon Riders, Father. Send us." (She was ready then to lead the battle, she wouldn't ask others to go in her stead)
18:11-18:14 The look Daemon gave him, to me was about on par with "If you were worth my effort, I'd knock you on your ass for that."
25:59-26:12
Please note the Queens Guard in the background preparing to draw his sword before Jace "diffuses" the situation a bit with words. Ulf could have been dead before the Queen intervened, if Jace didn't make the effort to calm the situation. Which is clearly challenging for him as he has seen little respect from Ulf the sanctimonious.
27:07-27:10 "What was that?"
The closest I could see in this light would be a Satyr, part goat part man, Old Earth (Greek) mythology. Most commonly recognized figure of this type would be Pan, a demi- or -lesser deity. I don't know if that's what it was or was based on, or just a congruence of features to make me think of it. (When I was younger I learned a lot about several mythologies, the most readily accessible being Greek, Norse and Egyptian.)
31:30-31:42
R: "Leave me again, at your peril"
D: "I could not. I have tried"
Can we please have an acknowledgement that he just admitted trying to leave (betray) her and he cannot? In all honesty he just said "I tried to take what is yours, I was wrong, I can't do that." (Even if it's the words of the moment, I believe that he believes he can't do that again)
That island was the island of faces on the lake called the God's eye. That island has weir tree on it. That island is the place where the children of the forest and the 1st men made peace.
Sacred Order of The Green Men are there too.
The episode itself is good but it was not what should have been the season finale. It really did feel like there should've been at least 1 more episode, especially since we have to wait 2 years for season 3.
Lohar is introduced and referred to as a man. But is obviously a woman. Even you called her “she/her.” I had to go back to verify I wasn’t mistaken.
31:29 it happened the end of last season
If Alicent's offer of the throne was genuine, she would have made it on bended knees.🙏
Stark Army need 8 episode to march from Winter fell to The twins😂😂😂
So.....another 2 years before the next season?
38:02 - 38:18
same
Do i see a little Tyrion Lannister popping out in Tyland and the Pirate Queen?
Tyland is not going to make any babies with that feller.
we dont need an hour between rounds! 5-10 minutes tops. tyland gonna get busy
I guess the dirt on Rhaena is 100% confirmation that she will be replacing Nettles🤦♂ welp goodbye Nettles you will truly be missed.
She's an amazing book character, but you saw this season. There is no time for another character out of nowhere. Daemon getting with her after this isn't an option when they introduced the visions. GRRM introduced the Song of Ice and Fire vision is season 1, this is just the natural progression of story deviation from that point.
Now wait 2 years sucker the bar stewards cut the season by 2 episodes to torture us
Lohar was played by the youtuber PhilosophyTube. I think this was her first tv show appearance.
2 years...
this season was just trash daemon did nothing all season apart from getting high thought we was going to get a epic dragon battle but we got 2 people wrestling in mud
Make up on Mr Crispy is stunning and I was eating a breakfast sausage toasty when he made the comment I was puking for 30 minutes . . .
24:56 Pff, Lord TyROD only needs 5 mins tops
Tbf she said she wanted to run away AFTER they end a pointless war it's not that hard to miss nothing wrong with that
@@suhailraja7797 I agree.
Abigail thorne is so good. Looking forward to seeing more of lohar, shes so funny campared to the rest of the depresso show
Ulf is a silly name. Fight me.
It’s the sound I make when I hit my shin on something.
It's a pretty common real life Scandinavian name. Means "wolf".
Ulf is a silly guy
Ulf is a jerk and I have a terrible feeling he's going to betray Rhaenyra. He just gave off nothing but bad vibes this episode. No respect at all. I hope Silverwing eats him lol.
I do worry that he won’t respect the thing that he’s been given. He already thinks he can take on Vhagar so he might get himself killed and we won’t have to worry about it anyway.
Boooo Bloodraven
I won't say I won't watch the next season but wow this was bad
That's ok, you don't have to watch it.
i don’t trust ulf and hugh. we never saw they bend the knee.
Remember Daemon is season 1 ? "I will speak of my brother as I wish. You will not."
It's the same with his wife now.
And that’s how Tyland Lannister had the best spring break ever.
LMFAO
Thank you so much for this, really.
Cristan Cole is really going through it this episode giving us his realistic take on being a regular dude in the seven kingdoms during war with dragons. I'm also still wondering how many wives the Admiral has because Tyland was standing pretty tall at the end there lol...
So who is the actress for the captain?
So many reacters were thrilled when they saw her on screen
@@jackhilton4285 Abigail Thorne from Philosophy Tube. She's a youtuber with a pretty big following.
I predict Tyland's gonna go missing for a while next season
Tyland: "Ow. Ow. Oof."
Lannister soldier: My Lord, where have you been? No one has seen you for three days. . . Why are you walking like that?"
Tyland: 😁
He crushed his scene. I wanted to see more of Cole but instead we got way to much of that idiotic pirate woman.
@@StinkyGreenBud "way to much" three scenes. 7 lines. buckle in bud, she's gonna be very important next season
I love that Adam said "Fuck right off." to Corlis.
Some damn fine acting on display this episode. They really made me feel for even the worst of the players.
Just wait until you see Matt Smith as the Doctor. You are in for a treat.
I love the scene with Criston and Gwynne - man epic scene and dialogue delivery.
The wind saying TRAITOR was AMAZING
Love that you said “the dragon’s going to be in a cave not in a field picking its teeth with sheep’s bones,” then when she finally found it, it was in a field picking its teeth with sheep’s bones.” 🤣
That’s twice I’ve done that 🤦🏼♀️
I absolutely loved this season and am still amazed at how amazing the writing and performances are.
How can we improve on this for season 2?’
Some Wanker Executive: ‘I know!! Only allow them 8 episodes, cut their budget virtually in half, and constantly interfere so that production becomes a bureaucratic nightmare!!’
Head of HBO: ‘Brilliant!! That makes prefect sense!!’.
HotD writers: "10 episodes, so 9 & 10 will be action packed."
HBO execs: "let's cut 9 & 10 and leave the audience with blue balls.
@@funnylilgalreacts absolutely agree
Helaena: "It's all a story, and you're but one part in it."
Daemon: "That's okay... we're all stories in the end. Just make it a good one, eh?"
Helaena and her baby's killer teaming up 😍
Thank you so much for thinking of men’s health.
Or to prevent her from simply flying away.
i could stare at Emma's Rhaenyra's face all day. She's so cute.
HUGE SHOUTOUT TO Rhaena's eyeballs 👀👀
I think Rhaenyra is going to be pissed off at Rhaena for leaving the kids.
Considering they where supposed to be safe that was her only job the kids get captured by the tryarchy
The only fun thing about the season finale not being a finale is watching others get frustrated over it too. Amazing episode though
29:30 thats the Isle of Faces an island in the God's Eye lake(hint hint wink wink) covered in Weirwood trees
Remember, this season was cut short two episodes due to the strike. The real finale was pushed back to Season 3.
Close, but it was due to budget issues with S2 and nothing to do with the strike.
King Aegon will show Maegor with teats how a true king wins his throne
"what is this island with all the colorfull things going on...."
shhhhhhhh🤫
13:14 "What are we looking at?" A very old lady who finally got to let loose in her small Dornish inspired arts-and-crafts hobby of turning cities to glass.
...and her highly impressionable rider.
Did anyone else really get the urge to listen to Ozzy after Daemon said "Bark at the moon"? Can't be just me lol
There are a lot of haters on this finale, but i loved it. It was Art. it was great story telling and character building.
@@neverend3r i lover it aswell. Season 3 will be peak season of hotd.
I've defended the Daemon Harrenhall dreamtrip, but it did more or less come down to Bloodraven crank-calling his great-granddad.
(read more for context spoiler/theory.)
that might be based on an ancestor of Brienne of Tarth. Hah! I was just theorizing that she might have a distant relation to the Targaryens, but this has already become a listed wiki of ice and fire theory. Perhaps some vague detail about this will be worked into next years show.
Emma D'arcy is the greatest actor of this generation.
Tyland also said the same thing after Viserys died in episode 9 last season. The Greens were well prepared in case of the city falling tbf.
He moved house Strong's gold from Harrenhal to Braavos, i.e. his families wealth and not the crowns.
The people will never accept her if she doesn't not to mention he and his followers could be a possible problem in the future.
what an extremely boring milked out season.
There is no team green any more they defected
Now its just house good guys vs team pycho aemond.
I cant believe good queen allysanes dragon picked that useless wasterel as a rider
In full agreement on Daemon's arc this season. I thoroughly enjoyed it and the payoff in the finale was well worth it.
I don’t like many Lannisters but I do like Tyland.
Fingers crossed HBO gets it together for season three. Two more episodes this season would have been awesome but I guess the budget for the planned ten episodes just wasn't there. So with 25 cliffhangers we go and wait.
BTW Abigail thorn who play Sharako Lohar is also a youtuber
Did we just watch a 70 min trailer of S3?
I love how everyone complained about the last season of Game of Thrones for being rushed, but when they try to build the story slowly and develop the characters and the world in House of the Dragon to stay as true as possible to the book 'Fire and Blood,' people complain that the pacing is too slow. Guys, you need to make up your minds. Personally, I found this season better than the first one and I can't wait to see the next season.
It's a shame I can give only one thumbs up, because I'd give many more. It's exactly that, this season was the proverbial calm before the storm.
I couldn’t agree more with you
Yep. Nailed it.
Yes. The crybabies are out in full force. Action should not be the basis of any television series. It should exist only to serve the story being told. Do these people even have attention spans anymore?
"to stay as true as possible to the book 'Fire and Blood"
that's not what they're doing at all. they're ignoring the story in the book and making up their own new story about rhaenyra and alicent being in love and alicent betraying her own children to save herself.
The two-year night is dark and full of spoilers.
that youtube hire was so obvious and jarring, almost as bad as ed sheeran in GoT
Alyn scence just so fking heavy
Okay so I'm wondering... am I the only one that thinks Alyn's armour is perhaps a little too elaborate for his position? I wonder if Corlys felt so much guilt that he finally acknowledged his sons.
