    Beautiful horse! I don't know much about horses, but are white percherons rare or considered undesirable? I've heard that other than black or gray, no other colors are allowed in the registry.

      Gray usually means white. Sounds a bit strange I know

      She's not hitting him. She's tapping him. A well trained horse can respond to tapping in sequential order to change gait, hold their head a certain way, etc. This horse doesn't shy from tapping. He's not head shy. They don't mistreat him. Percherons are avid work horses, and they love to haul, prance, and show off. The tapping is communication from rider to horse, and his rider does it seamlessly. He's an impressive animal, and she's an equally impressive handler. Please don't comment if you don't understand what's happening in the video.
