You can use the shrines on the surface to see where the missing lightroots are if you have any. I know this because each lightroot in the depths corresponds to a shrine on the surface (their names are even reversed to reflect that).

Yup. I got about 80 shrines, and then spent a couple of days working my way through the depths to fill in all the lightroots and thus find the remaining shrines.
Personally I like the dragon method. I hop on a dragon, bring a few rocket shields, ride on the dragons while their in the depths, get the lightroots there path is on, hoverbike/rocket shield back to the dragon, and you get the dragon parts too.

The depths labyrinths aren't so much labyrinths as they are just, get to the lower floor and fight the flux construct. Then when it's gone there's one final hand ring thingy that'll reveal your reward. After the boss is gone the doors will open to get outside the labyrinth, and that's how you're supposed to get that lightroot.
The best thing is knowing where all the shrines are because every lightroot is under a shrine, and the name of the light root is the name of the shrine reversed
Colgera is not an ice monster: Colgera ice a crystalline monster with air powers...so it's, basically, fueling the flames of the lava, making it even more treacherous.
There's 120 light roots. No there are no roots bellow sky shrines. It's plenty fun finding them all. Also, swith the map to the surface map, that way you can easily see bodies of water which = unpassable walls below the surface.
There are only 120 light roots because there are only 120 shrines on the surface. The other thirty shrines in the sky do not have corresponding light roots.
Congrats on this video getting the amount of viewers you deserve. 👏It's always entertaining to see you playing the game: you stumble into a situation that makes it appear you're not well prepared for it (in terms of armor, food, devices), but you're always getting out of it with flying colors. Like the construct on top of the temple of time tells you, sky islands were once on the Earth's surface, but raised to facilitate the heros journey. And, if im not mistaken, the shrines on sky island appear to have what looks like a root system torn from sediment. Also, I wouldn't be surprised if there were locations in the depths that look like a light-root sized root system was ripped from the ground.
it gives a glowing brightbloom shaped buttplug, which goes really well with the fursuit for all shrines >:3 also i think the lightroots are stealing the light from the shrines of light

Oh, just one other ting, If you're committed to the hoverbike you can shoot a brightbloom directly on to the steering stick, pointing upwards, and still ride the bike no problem. When you do this remember to place the bike facing forward against a tree or wall or whatever to prevent the bike flying off when you hit it with the brightbloom/arrow

true in videogames they tend to give out rewards for completing things as a way to keep the player entertained. But it doesn't always work that way in real life

Unless they make a good enough DLC, I'm not updating from version 1.1.1, because the jump dupe glitch is the only way I'm upgrading some of my armor sets.😅 Namely, anything that uses insects, frogs, and lizards, because farming them is a chore I'm not dealing with. Also, bombs and fragile stuff (milk, oil, and Goron Spice). There's a sky island with low gravity and a small shallow pond with frogs that's perfect for duping bombs and other fragile items without damaging my shields (they don't break and the bombs don't blow up if they land in shin deep water), and the low grav gives me a little more air time to pull off the dupe.

yeah for sure. Only times you get actually good rewards is when doing main story stuff basically
Tip: Yunobo weighs down your hover bike so it goes slower.
Yup! Don't worry I do know this
Wait... Really?
you can see now the reward is metocore but at least you can see. would have been kinda funny if all the enemies disappeared after all the light roots XD
true! Being able to see is very nice as well as helping you find shrines
guys it took me SOON to LONG to get all of those and my switch is BROKEN. :(
oh no D: i'm sorry to hear that
@@247MrNiceguy my dad replaced the battery and it was SQUISHY!!
Thinking about it makes me kind of sad. We have been conditioned to view completion of work as a reward rather than the reception of a prize or something of value.
true in videogames they tend to give out rewards for completing things as a way to keep the player entertained. But it doesn't always work that way in real life
If you’re high from the ground in under death mountain, you could use sons power so that way you don’t have to worry about getting burned with one piece of the fire armor😊😊😊
I meant to say Sion don😅😅
oh yeah I had someone in my chat suggest that too! Unfortunately sidons power doesn't last very long
Btw I have 998,769 rupies. I got them by doing a glitch
I didn't want to cheat and do any glitches until after I beat the game
Sheeeeeeesh mistor nice guy, I would never get that much depts map, and to use your hover bike for that long to despawn it is crazy. Like I would have already lost my hoover bike and be on my 4th bike at that point (6:46). Bravo! 8:24 - You cant be doing that mistor nice guy!! Did you learn anything in school lol
lol I've never used my hover bike long enough for it to despawn before either
@@247MrNiceguyit's because you added a fire hydrant to your ride that made all of the bike go away
too late, I’ve already got only 11 left.
*sighs in spiral root*
😂 hey at least getting that map filled out if rewarding
I got all the lightroots because I got tired of stumbling around in the dark.
Getting an achievement was the last thing on my mind. It didn't matter to me.
same here. I didn't even know there was a reward until someone mentioned it to me. I just wanted to complete the map
I can’t find your beating Totk video
That's because I have not posted it yet! Still have a couple more episodes of the playthrough to upload first
After a year and a bit, I finally got all the shrines. Despite this video, I am doing all the Light Roots, just because.
oh dang you got all the shrines first? I would have recommended doing the lightroots first because they are easier to find. At least because the lightroots and shrines are in the same place, it should be extra easy for you to find them
I WATCHED YOU WHEN I WAS YOUNGER! I'VE BEEN TRYING TO FIND THIS CHANNEL FOR YEARS, BUT I FORGOT THE NAME
Welcome back :D
I think light roots take energy from shrines to glow
That would make sense!
Sky Islands used to be ground before they got lifted up... This is a play on the Skyward Sword world... ;)
Too bad the whale is just a skeleton now... :(
I wonder where the islands got lifted up from because there doesn't seem to be any place in hyrule they came from
The real prize is the map not having dark spots all over it lol
True! Plus its helpful for finding shrines
I have always wondered what is outside of Hyrule.
yeah we need a zelda game that takes place in a neighboring kingdom
4:37 he should join the diss wars.
i think id come in last place
@@247MrNiceguy *First place
I did it because it helped me find every shrine. I went to the surface and googled the name backwards
yeah using the lightroots to help find shrines is nice
its been 3 years and I forgot about mrmeanguy
welcome back! Mr.meanguy still shows up in videos sometimes
The roots are the easiest, why? They are the easiest to find, Once you get all the roots, you know where to find the shrines to get more stamina and hearts
yeah having all the lightroots is super useful for finding shrines!
The completed depths map is more rewarding then the reward…
Agreed! That's the reason I wanted to get all the lightroots
