It's great to find this video after my first sparring class where I eat almost every punch to my face.

Thanks for these videos, I watch them over and over to remind me of what I'm supposed to be achieving. I had my first sparring session with my own teacher and experienced students at our gym two nights ago and most of what I learned went out the window. I threw so many random punches in succession until I couldn't breathe any more LOL. First lesson! Throw your combination and then step back and breathe. My defence was poor, which is why I'm watching your videos AGAIN!! Live and Learn :)

Thank you very much for your teaching Sir. I have been learning Muay Thai for 2 years. before, I feel afraid in blocking punch. You remind us to press up against forehead. It is very useful ! Although I still little bit afraid, I can now clam down and show a littlw bit improvement and now I can watch opponent's punch. Thanks again for solving my main problem.

I practice for years and went through judo, kung-fu, english boxing, karate kyokushinkai, krav-maga and yoseikan budo but I only started Muay Thaï few days ago. I tried many types of blocking techniques for straights punches but I really think your little forehead trick is the best way to block quickly and efficiently straights and crosses to the head. Plus, it's really in the muay thaï spirit and it's pretty smart so thanks for your video. I think I'll follow you to assimilate more quickly muay thaï fondamentals.
    Have nice fights!

+The Clever One ! If you look most Muay Boran fights, fighters are not so muscular so i think you could do it well.

It doesn't matter if you're thin, you can be an efficient fighter even if you're thin. I'm pretty muscular and I had some hard times against fat or thin opponents. Go on and try ^^

Excellent video. I'm guilty of not moving my arm all the way back when blocking a hook, leaving my rear head exposed. It's a very bad habit but I can't seem to kick it!
