      Scrapjanny Yes, small jump rings, or depending on the type of ear wire, you might be able to open the loop on the bottom of the ear wire itself.

    The font you used in the video is pretty, but not good for those of us who have issues with reading because of dyslexia. Because of that, I used 18 beads to start the round and struggled until I realized the count was wrong.

    I've tried to make crafts like this several times but I cant find a needle and thread small and sturdy enough. What do you use?

    • @IdleMayhem
      @IdleMayhem 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Savanna Dearing It's just regular polyester sewing thread and a beading needle. The needles can normally be found near the seed beads in most craft stores.

      I was just about to say that very same thing but someone else has obviously beaten me to the punch!!
      I am a graphics designer in my other life & just a couple tips to save you time & hassle if you redo it:
      A) As pretty & as tempting as it might be to choose a 'script' or 'cursive' style font.... DON'T DO IT‼️ No matter which script font you choose, there will ALWAYS be SOMEONE who has difficulty reading it!! Instead try to go for what's called a Sans-Serif font (in the typesetting and graphics world). A good example of a Sans-serif font is the default font that these comments appear in. A SERIF font on the other hand, is something like a 'Times New Roman' or the typeset that has appeared in the PRINT EDITION of newspapers such as the Washington Times or the New York Post for decades on end!!
      B) The other major concern you need to worry about is your text COLOR‼️ You have several instances where you have black text, appearing on a background of a hand that creates SHADOWS (of a rather dark brown color) which makes it nearly IMPOSSIBLE to read your text NO MATTER WHAT FONT IT WAS IN‼️‼️ Solution: Make sure that your text color CONTRASTS with your BACKGROUND COLOR(s) even if you have to change your text color mid-sentence‼️

    Sorry, but this is not explained well/properly, the white background is way too bright, and you keep losing your grip on the piece so it flips all over the place, plus the long strings are hanging all over :(

      Donna... really???
      that is all you can think of to comment, are you a bored 7th grader with nothing else to do but be rude and waste people times with such a useless comment.?
      Shame on you. Certainly you have more productive things you could spend your time on.
      .... like maybe making your on video, that would be so much more useful to someone like yourself, may I suggest you title it,
      “Learn some manners”.... then do some research so you can teach yourself some first!
