I love it when Ike talks about Swedish stuff😭 I understand him since I’m Swedish, don’t put Swedish meatballs in the microwave if you don’t plan on cooking them first. AND PLEASE DONT BOIL THEM😭😭
@@Lypus-kz7rs well, If you want to make Swedish meatballs you shouldn’t boil them. Because boiling them makes the meatball more juicy. But if you do want to boil them then don’t expect Typical swedish meatballs
@@kittysjoyxo i never had swedish meatball, only taste that minced meat mixed with some pork cake i guess? idk what the ingredients are in english but definitely have pork... anyway it just not my taste so i just hoping on swedish meatballs would fit my taste so in conclusion i don't know if a swedish meatball taste like the ones i ate
@@Lypus-kz7rs Never heard of swedish meatballs that use pork. At least not traditional ones. Classic swedish meatballs (real ones, not IKEA ones) are just minced beef meat rolled into mid sized balls that are fried then served with potato (mashed is the most common but boiled is also a classic) and brown sauce and/or lingon jam. Of course, there is a bit of a recipe when it comes to how you make the balls, but I'll save you the details. The main point is that I've never heard of swedish meatballs having pork in it. Though I suppose that if you like pork you could add it. But traditionally it's just beef.
@@Rodoet001 oh the pork is an ingredient and the swedish meatballs have some similars look to the one i was eat (sadly its not meatball but rather a traditional round pork cake in small chunk like meatball in my country and i dissapointed that it is not made out of minced beef like the swedish and i hate it)
Is it cuz in southeast asia our meatballs are more like processed? Cuz i cook bakso by boiling and i think "meatballs" is more like ground meat shaped into balls, so it would make sense not to boil them..
I dont know about that lol 😂 but its very different when you came visit to Indonesia. Meatball or we called it "Bakso" it made for boiled and serve with the soup/broth and some spice into it.
Non-Swedes: Mmm boiled meatballs Ike: *OFFENDED IN SWEDISH* lmfaooooo i dont think ive ever seen him pull out the I'm Swedish card lol doing it for meatballs is honestly relatable
I fry them in a pan, and de glaze it after with a bit of red wine to make a sauce to pour over them, and eat them with a side of cheesey mashed potatoes.
My mom boils them if she's making soup with them and it tastes fine but I do prefer them fried and with some kind of sauce but not gravy. I like mushroom or tomato. But I'm also not swedish and the kind of meatballs I make are different I think. Also meatballs are so freaking easy to make so I would never buy them frozen from the store.
He should really do a cooking stream and make meatballs or just the typical Swedish foods for us to learn from.
norvegians have a boiled version so boiling isn't that odd considering. Just don't microwave them and just like ike I am a swede

Poor Ike! So much emotional damage from is own Quilldren! I lost it by the "I am literally Swedish!" lmao!
Also congrats to 12k Subs Kizu!
Thank you sm Mirko!
I’m laughing at his 🅱️s LMAO 😭
“What do you mean ‘🅱️oil’? Who ‘🅱️oils’ meat🅱️alls? You. Don’t. 🅱️oil. Meat. 🅱️alls”
If I was Ike I would be extremely disappointed too lol and WHO TF BOILS MEATBALLS LIKE WHY?!?!😢 THANK YOU KIZU!!! ❤❤❤❤❤
I’m Chinese-Indonesian, and yes, we do boil meatballs, for meatballs soup and hot pot, but it’s different type of meatballs with Swedish meatballs
Fellow Asian here and I was kinda shocked
In indonesia, we cook our meatballs by boiling them so to me it was a cultural shock when i see people fry them
Is it cuz in southeast asia our meatballs are more like processed?

He is the Swedish man we must follow him, otherwise he will go on break again and leave us counting days in the corner
Meanwhile, my dear mother boils meatballs from IKEA, and I airfry the meatballs 🍵 Airfryer does a better job at getting a crust than a pan
Your editing makes it funnier. 😂 Thank you 4 the clip
I’m glad that you like my edit,TY 🥰
I air fty meatballs from time to time. They cook just fine that way :)
I fry them in a pan, and de glaze it after with a bit of red wine to make a sauce to pour over them, and eat them with a side of cheesey mashed potatoes.
in chinese cuisine we boil meatballs for steamboats or hotpots! probably not advisable for swedish meatballs lmao
I boil the meatballs then put it in a soup or put them raw into a hotpot so if anyone want to fight I’m ready
Boiled meatballs scare me :,)
we need him to react "Bakso" (meatball-like in Indonesia) it would be funny😂
As a Sweidsh person..... I relate to this absolutely nonsense.

As a finn i microwave my meatballs 😭😭 i mean they were those frozen meatballs
But I baked my first Swedish meatballs.... Am I also wrong?
Microwaved or boiled meatballs, mmmm.... sounds like a one-way trip to Salmonella-town 🤢
The ones bought in the store are already cooked so you can microwave them. Those are the ones Ike talked about. Btw I'm Swedish
Yeah i sometimes eat a frozen meatball as a snack whilst i pan fry the rest (also swedish)
@@Alynxen my sister does that. While I do microwave them due to my laziness and lack of cooking skills. Pan steaked are obviously superior
Lmfao i was literary tears from laughing 2 much and smileing and lvu lke 🤗🤗🤗🤗🤣🤣🤣🤣
I put them in the oven...
don’t anger the swedish
Moral of the story, don't boil meatballs
WHO THE FUCK BOIL OR MICROWAVE MEATBALLS?! Might be my Swedish showing, but just... No. Straight to jail.
Who boils meatballs, Excuse moi, le Francoise Bâtards, does boil them. The Dutch as well, hence the Dutch are a fan of the Frikandel...
