You have some nice ideas, but.. First of all, you don't just put blocks under the play area without any given notice. You know they're there, but the players don't. Same for having to carry a shell to kick out some blocks without telling the players about them. Also, watch what you put in help blocks (like the jk). The process of getting Yoshi was also long and drawn-out. I would like to see you make a full hack, though. You do have interesting ideas. =D
I suggest using coins or so to show there's something to stand on down there. Message block stuff, generally people showcasing their hack will hit them to show what they say, so yeah. At least that's cleared up now. =D
This was a good hack, but there is something I don't like about hacks like this. It's very challenging and it focuses more on challenge then the overworld and story. I enjoy hacks that have story and have beautiful maps and have levels that slowly get harder and harder. But for a first hack, this is definately amazing.
in this level, that's the main point. I always want to make the levels hard and long. It makes it challenging for me. Third Paragraph: I accidentally screw up T_T.
First Paragraph: Thank you. Second Paragraph: So I just put a sign showing where they land? Oh, ok. Now, about the shell, look at 1:11, there's a message block. I didn't show you what it saids but it saids that you need a shell to hit the turn blocks to further advance. Basically, if you didn't have the shell, you could just go back and stole the shell from the koopa. I will remove the "bad" words in the near future. Of course it takes a long time to get Yoshi [damn for the character limit.]
Mushrooms that make you grow bigger, an overgrowned beast who wants to kidnap a princess, a feather that makes you fly, what did you expect?

Nice job! But one flaw, the sprites are glitchy.
