I love watching these new scream movies because of the bond between the Carpenter sisters. This relationship is the central part of these two new scream movies. Give credit to the two female actors, Melissa and Jenna, who portray these two sisters because you feel they are real sisters. After you see these movies, you want to see more of these two sisters.

Boy you are 3 months late she was fired for making comments on Instagram which is not her fault. Jenna Ortega dropped out due to filming Wednesday season 2 and they are going to do a creative reboot of scream 7 not technically rebooting the franchise just telling a different story

My sisters name is Sam and this reminds me of her. I have a crush on Tara
I like it. Also, I love the sisters relationship between Tara and Sam rather than anything sexual or awkward. Family means more-always. I suspect Sam would kill for Tara without hesitation or regret-in fact, in Scream 6? Only Tara's presence stops her from doing exactly that, which shows just how close the sisters are.
The problem is that you can see Sam sliding more and more towards her fathers full-blown Psychosis as the films go on. In Scream V she can see him in mirrors and reflective surfaces, even though he has to have been dead before she was born. She's on Antipsychotics, which are seriously potent medication, she ran away from Tara for five years she was so scared of herself-and it's not enough. Just look what she does to the wannabe after being stabbed in the guts with a gun to her head, crawling on the floor face down with a murdering madman standing over her.
"Never f*** with a serial killers daughter" she says. Then she carves him up with a knife pointed out to her by her hallucination of her dead dad. She stabbed him 32 times, slit his throat and shot him in the head-and feels no guilt at all. She scares her therapist in Scream 6 so badly, just by telling him this? He asks her not to come back, he's scared of her...
Tara finished off the other one with a clean headshot. But she is clearly just protecting her sister and herself from the murdering crazy people-she's crying her eyes out in Sam's arms moments later. That's how normal, rational people SHOULD react.
In Scream VI, Sam can hear as well as see her dead dad. That means things are steadily getting worse, not better. But you can also see she's trying, with a boyfriend, trying to get close to Tara, socialising with friends.
Only then they get hunted by the killer family. Sam shoots one in the head with a literal smile on her face, butchers another while wearing her dads old Ghostface outfit and using his knife. Then, as Sam is looking in the shiny surface of the car she's standing next to, she see's her dad again, as though she's thinking about something involving him...
And tosses the old outfit away without hesitation when Tara calls for her. While she has Tara, she'll never be the kill-crazy that her dad was. But if Tara was ever taken away from her?
She'd make her dad look like a rank amateur. She'd find everyone responsible and kill them in ways that would make the police weep. She'd show what the words "serial killer" REALLY mean...
I HARD agree. I love that aside from raising the stakes (for me personally) by having the two mains be sisters, there's this added element of Sam's psychosis. Will she snap? Will she become like her father? Will she ever become the next Ghostface?
And it's such a fine line she has to walk because leaning into her legacy is what saves them in the end. But leaning too far and she could lose herself.
At this point I'm not sure if it'll be satisfying or terribly sad if Sam does become Ghostface for real. Imagine she has a face off with Tara. I think it would bring their whole arc to a head, but it might also be too cliche. Either way I look forward to another story with these two together.

The father ditched them when he found out sam was Billy’s kid. The mother blamed Sam for her actions in not telling the father to begin with. The mother cut sam off then Tara because she sides with Sam. In short all the parents of these girls are shit including billy for sam.
