Too bad most structure decks are not equally strong tho. Would be cool to do with like 8 structure decks of the same era so they are somewhat balanced around each other. But the old decks are too expensive and even the new ones are quite an invest if you quit yugioh back then but would love the idea for game night.

For instance, I have a blue eyes deck on MD and in paper. It's never going to be godlike or unbeatable regardless of how many videos Sam makes about a blue eyes deck. (I know having blue eyes is a waste but I just love the archetype and I'm a yugiboomer lol)

When I started playing master duel this was one of my favorite decks because of how big you can get Gaia the magical knight of dragons but bricking is way too frequent in this deck, it’s ridiculous. If they ever wanna make this viable they need to add a couple more negates and some more support cards
Dont forget the amount of game he played to get these wins is immense there so many player playing runick and sprights that you be lucky to half of the things he did
I would fusion the magical knight first, it allows you to add back the spiral fusion from the grave, and you can also banish materials from your grave along with any cards that are in your hand. I love this deck though. I've been running it for awhile and it's pretty simple to add more engines along with it. Dark Magician goes great with it as well. Used it during the legends tourny and steamrolled most games with ease.

This is an awesome deck that I'm going to be making, but damn you get lucky that you don't get matched up with decks that set up 7 negates in the first turn. I always get matched up against those decks and it's annoying as hell.

I like having the ability to switch between Gaia/black luster, Gaia/red eyes, Gaia/dark magician, dark magician/red eyes, dark magician/black luster I have like nine decks just for those
The hard part for the deck building is all the URs that end up in there. I'm watching a YT stream Sam did going rookie to diamond where he created a new account, made a blue eyes deck, and then spent like $700 to get the gems to get the packs to get the cards or enough URs to disassemble into crafting points. Konami would probably make more money if they just let folks buy crafting points, charge more for SR and UR if they're worried folks will just buy their way to the fancy cards.

Maybe it’s just me, and believe me I love Dark Magician as much as the next guy, but wouldn’t Gaia have made more sense as Yugi’s OG boss monster? You know since it’s a Knight, and his rival Kaiba uses a Dragon?:P
I'd like to see more Duelist Kingdom Duels. Bandit Keith vs Pegasus, Joey vs Pegasus. Maybe Joey (Battle City Deck) vs Jaden and Yugi(Battle City Deck) vs Zane. Also Marik vs Noah.
This has been my main deck for awhile per SD, just because I love Gaia as an OG monster. This deck is very stoppable, interrupting it even once most times will dead stop it, and if you get 2 interruptions your dead, unless they don’t OTK you on their next turn. Side note: Blue Eyes decks only win against this in specific circumstances of you not getting what you need, that’s why your opponent 1 scooped. They don’t call Gaia the Champion of Dragons for no reason. Also a copy or to of Quaking MF is great to have on hand for when you brick and need a way to defend and set up for your attack.
The way i fixed this deck was adding rokkets. One of them monster reborns level 5 or higher dark dragons on normal summon. And then the one that quick effect pops a card and special summons. Can usually get out a dragon champion amd hieratic seal or a borrel dragon
If the Gaia fusions had some kind of protection the deck would be rogue. Curse already DRNMs the field when it’s fused with, Gaia the Magical should give destruction immunity when it’s used as material
You know it's sad when a dedicated "deck" involves almost half of all it's cards being hand traps like maxx c and ash. One of these days a "deck" will be 35 hand traps/board breakers and 5 of whatever archetype you want to use.
By far my favorite deck is this deck because i like warriors and dragons, put that together you have my fav deck. I wish i can own it but i dont. I only have a dark magician and a no.39 utopia.
As much as we can complain about yugioh and its terrible balancing, it’s honestly amazing that after so many years, cards like Gaia, Dark Magician and Blue Eyes can still be useful. …now if only they would buff Red Eyes support (or you know unban Dragoon)
Honestly I play dark magician I also have a Gaia deck before the structure pack release and Gaia does alot better when I play against my friends specifically because of the field spell and the fusion monster which allows me to pop and gain attack

I personally want to see you throw some stuff like dark magician, Luis , white dragon or red eyes, black dragon, even elemental heroes into other structure decks that don’t make sense but work well together. I don’t care if you’re playing shaddoll’s, and then suddenly dropped cyber end dragon I want to see some combinations that don’t make sense but work.

When Master Duel first released, I ran Gaia but sadly the deck destroyed by interruptions. It's still a lot of fun to play though.

Fun archetype for players returning from old school yugioh. I’ve been using it to some success on master duel with some mods.
