My first day on I was conscripted into an artillery crew. 45 min of meticulous positioning of shells over discord and mundane repetition of load fire repeat. I absolutely loved it.
spent 2 hours with 4 guys doing hand held motoring shot flares when it got dark and hammering machine gun and high concentrations of troops in trenches allowing the tanks and infantry in we had pushed them out of the area just as I was logging off there's honestly no greater sense of accomplishment when you spend hours slugging for an area you and your comrades bled and died hard and you roll into the next one the gears of war grinding on
Yesterday was my first day, spent an hour waiting in a bush with A.T.R.P.Gs alongside 4 other people. Shot and hit a tank once and was promptly blown to pieces by another.

I got the game yesterday and i joined a squad of one medic. I dm him but he didnt respond nothing, so i learn by myself how to health and revive other, i bring the injured soldiers to the medic station. But when someone shoots me nobody helps me, until one man saw me and start screaming in indian tone "MEDIC MEDIC, WE NEED A MEDIC HERE". But nobody helps us, and he brings my body back all the way to the base to find a medic or a medic station, until we encounter the guy first guy in my squad and he heal me. We lost that position but that was fun.
Its going to be interesting to say the least to see how logi adapts to the map additions, and production facility shuffle. I for one think there will be growing pain.
4:15 ah yes, Abandoned Ward, I spent weeks fighting back and forth on that front, from the day we took it to the day we lost it, and took it back again, truly my home

They said go stand watch a little further up. I stood there for about 10-15 minutes listening to guys say how they arent even shelling enemies. Then they said they were out of ammo and told me and another guy to go get a truck grab shells and come back, we took the truck and started driving down the road. We got yelled at by someone else for using the "kill truck" and they said trucks arent for transporting ammo. We started walking to the ammo depot and the guy I was with was going wrong way, we argued and split up, I ended up getting the ammo but someone asked wtf was taking me so long so I just logged off.
You know, first thing I did was doing what I felt was necessary, solo. Some medic stuff, some frontline suppression. If I came across bossy people who dont seem to be having fun or spoil it for others I'd just change my spot. The beauty is that it's a big world and you come across all kinds of people.
I can recomend walking out and looking at trees before getting shit done/going out with friends, or I can recommend an RPG that has changed thouthands of lives who had a more severe version of this problem

Me in the logistic team My war: hey! Get me a container you lazy *ss bunch!, god dammit! F*cking partisan attacking the supply line again!, wheres the squad thats suppose to be guards, what?! In the frontline?! Are you kidding me?! "please help us"
I was at that battle at 6:21 trying to push into Singing Serpents (I think), and we managed to lose all the AA guns and only recover 1 of the guns from the Collies by the end of the battle. There were so many casualties just trying to recover those guns...
If you ever do that again, tryto make it look like the collie is coming from the south and the warden from the north by changing your camera angle with the warden. Had a sense of focusing to the common frontline :)
In Bavaria(southern germany) we have a saying "Ned gschimpft is globt gnua." Which basically means "You weren't scolded, thats enough praise." So, yeah. You did well but don't expect praise for doing your job. XD
Wait, was that a bulldozer to collect mats? That wasn't in boot camp. I'm still interested in trying out Logi and if I don't need to use a sledgehammer, that'll speed up the process. Edit: 3:55 Also, is that the storm cannon everyone is talking about? I think I remember people talking about, "The age of Storm Cannons is here" or something.
I mean look I got 5 years on my TH-cam catalog of foxhole gameplay from it's early days. But know the price is increasing to 30$ cad in a day or so. So.... Yeah maybe go watch some streamers

I really with the game would allow wider view angles for spectators from maybe planes or sth. because this narro view of the field really makes it hard to imagine the scale.
Well, it did gain popularity in 2021 (I started playing in september myself). Now it's between 3x and 5x as active as it was before. Still lower than it should be, ofc.

This game is amazing. Still a new player but I ran 120mm arty earlier tonight and put through it over 100 shells all on target

I mean i turned the HUD off and am not any of the soldiers featured in this video, it makes more sense if you watch regular gameplay.
