I mean, who could this Thadiakar be? Someone who was very skilled at planning, could handle complex plots, schemes, and hard the determination to fight against beings other thought deities. Who could this man being? Who in the cosmere could have the experience, cunning, ruthlessness, to do this? He'd need the skill to do something on the level of convincing people he was a god. Godspeed you magnificent bastard!
lol spoil it for everyone without spoiling it for everyone please 😂 also my personal opinion is if you are someone who read this comment and put two into together before knowing the answer you probably shouldn’t have been on this video to begin with. ❤
I really can't wait to hear your updated thoughts after reading The Lost Metal. While I do agree that the various political and commercial aspects are driving forces for the rank and file of the Ghostbloods, I'm thinking that the main focus, originating with Thaidakar, is to find a way for him to, let's say restore himself and regain some of his lost capabilities. Tricky trying to word that with a minimum of spoilers, lol.
Lol appreciate you avoiding the spoilers. I do agree with that, but I'm talking more the goal of the organization as a whole. They may care about helping him achieve that, but as an organization they have larger goals in my opinion. I'm currently halfway through Oathbringer in my SLA reread. Then I'm on to Mistborn Era 2. Will make videos on it for sure
@@RavensRants I love the reread. I usually do a couple of those a year for the Cosmere. As well as The Wheel of Time at least once. Really looking forward to my next TWoT reread after the big Sanderson reveal about it for the 10 year anniversary.
So they basically want to become the Guild Navigators in Dune. Control the most valuable resource in the universe, and through it, control transportation
The Lost Metal confused me even more. I am not all the way done but I am certain a 2nd read through will be required before I can make sense of what is going on.
Knowing Thaidakar, this is probably all about restoring his former self and building enough power on Scadrial to protect the planet. Bonus points if he can kill a god or two in the process.
Here's the age-old question: would you join the Ghostbloods if it meant learning all of their secrets? I don't know if I would, I'm too much of a coward, but I would be interested
The Ghost bloods seem like one of those side quests that are seemingly going nowhere. I hope I'm wrong, but I'm not really invested (pun intended) in what they're doing...
@@RavensRants ah right that explains a lot missing in this video. you could probably leave this video as it is but market it as the Rosharan branch of the ghostbloods, just for people that have only read stormlight.
@@RavensRants oh, I assumed you were just stockpiling material so you could put a few videos out in succession and help with the algorithm. Genuinely believe your forewarning at the beginning was a clever ploy.
They seem to pretty clearly be a scadriel *nationalist society. (*nationalist isnt the right word but their whole purpose is to protect scadriel from other worlds)
HELL YEAH! SHINE ON YOU CRAZY DIAMOND! Sorry, I just really liked Kelsier. Flawed but awesome. I'm low key convinced we will see a Scadrial vs Roshar war. Can't honestly say which side I'm on, but I read mistborn first and really liked the first book. It also makes sense. On Scadrial Atium was used for control, Kelsier knows this, and he has every reason to fear what Roshar might do if allowed to possess the same kind of monopoly.

Sanderson already made the big reveal about Nakomi but it’s not that interesting
@@kiril.velevv - I'm referring to the one about Lanfear.
damn, there is so much Ghostblood in TLM, you should revisit this video with those new information
I definitely will!
@@RavensRants nice :)
Can't wait to see Rosharans meet the peoples of Mistborn in a larger sense..
Love the video. Will definitely need to update I believe. I'm torn on if I like the ghostbloods
Yeah we'll see how I feel after reading TLM 😂
While I don't know that much about the ghostbloods, I do know this:
There's always another secret.
Love this stuff

Kelsier is probably the final villains of the series. Him or Hoid

Nah, I'm not a fan of how they operate
Great video but I would respect you more if your VCR in the intro was a top loader.
Lol fair 😂
Im thinking Raven needs to read Wax and Wane as it clearly answers who the ghost bloods are and why they seek all this power.
So difficult to tell you were saying Mraize and not Rayse throughout. Got very confusing for a point there.
Lol gotta work on my enunciation 😂

Why such a long delay in releasing the video?
Real life got in the way and I still haven't had time to read The Lost Metal. If anything major is revealed, I'll release an updated video

Controlling the investiture economy would be huge...
And i cant want to see an allomancer and surgebinder sparring
Love the information and delivery but hate the dumb vcr overlay. As someone who grew up on vhs, no one misses analog.
spoiler
thaidakar is kelsier.
That was kinda a low tier spoiler
@@itachiuchiha8304 can i have an example of an s tier spoiler in cosmere.
