Certainly Disney had the shot for the Sequel Trilogy, but there were poor structured story wise, lacked continuity, and made it too nice, fragile, and inadequate.
Hello jyu467. Episode 1 - 7 were good, a few were Great, Awesome and Very Enjoyable but Episode 8, Disney used different director and I was disappointed too. Episode 9, last one, JJ directed back again with best he could do with Disney’s pressure, plus not many lightsabers fighting sciences which is the main part of “JEDI” in Star Wars. Only Ben and Rei, that didn’t make fans satisfied very much unfortunately. Episode 9 was not the one George Lucas wanted, wished be the movie/story of his “baby”. I am a big fan of Star Wars since 70’s, so I give them credit. Cast and crew worked so hard, many of us enjoyed last 40 years, I give them 9 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ out of ten, even though 9 Episodes.
