Hi. First of all, thank you. I have two questions. After getting my photos printed by a photo studio, I have to scan my photos and then upload the photos. Does the system take pdf form or jpeg? Do we need to crop the photos otherwise it is the size of A4 paper with a small photo in the middle? Second, how do we sign the form online?

Like I am not moving, but based on this chart it would look like I am going to be stopping living at my address if I put a date. Do you just put the date you applied or how does this work? So I don't know if the meaning of time spent outside of Canada counts from the day you had you Confirmation Of Permanent Resident or it also includes the time you were outside Canada before applied for PR.

Great tutorial, thanks. The Address and Work history tables doesn't save at all, tried 3 different browsers, all position from oldest to newest from newest to oldest, followed your video keeping the moving date from the older address to the new address and doesn't work as well. although the message "Don't leave gaps between dates" disappeared the table is not saved at all. There is a BUG on Page 4 and lac of computer logic from whom decided to do that way, very usual in Canada. Better do with a paper and pen and send it by mail.

As per the online process status that it will stay submitted until an agent start working on your file. Keep an eye on your e-mail for any correspondence . Current processing time is 62 days....!!!

A little about me, I resigned from my last role back in September 30th, 2021 (almost 2 years) to be a stay-at-home dad and have not left Toronto since February, 2018. I’m just wondering if they can submit their application at the same time or do they need to create a new application for each of them? If so, do they need to pay the fees separately and upload their own receipts on their application)?? Or can we pay the fees altogether and upload 1 receipt to each of their application that shows the total of $150 for 3person??
I recommend paper application and mail all the applications in one envelope to the government. In that case, you can pay the fee together and share one fee receipt.

I double checked it 5 times, only thing I notice that is different is that when I enter my address of residence it doesn’t allow me to save with the blue save button, but when I click on the + button it allows me to save the page … so you have any experience in this field

I'm a permanent resident of Canada, my pr card expires next month, I've already applied for a renewal a couple of months ago, but now I'm on vacation out of Canada and because I won't be back till AFTER my pr card expires, I have to apply for a permanent resident travel document (PRTD). So.. I'm applying for a PRTD online, and my status on the IMM5444 form says "in progress" instead of "ready to submit". All the other documents I've uploaded are accepted and say "ready to sumbit", I haven't left any gaps in the dates, I have put all my information as I did in my pr renewal application when I did it before I left Canada for my vacation. I am trying to contact both IRCC and the visa centre in the country I'm at and I cannot find anyone.

For photo, you need to take digital photo instead of paper one. At the section, they do have electronic signature.

No, you only need to photocopy the photo page (1st page) of your valid passport.

One is fine. You can put the country you stayed the most, or you can put 3 countries in one line separating by comma.

Check it again. The system is very picky. Anything wrong, eg, uploaded doc size might cause that issue.

@@00settlement Thank you for getting back to me! I was able to get it to work though I did have another question; for question. When I complete and submit IMM 444 and return to the main page the tab button says its in progress where yours had changed to ready to submit. Do you know why this would be, I have checked and everything seems to be filled out on my end. I did notice it says in: 1.4 Date you became a PR in Canada it says I need to validate this date is correct. would that be why?

As per the online process status that it will stay submitted until an agent start working on your file. Keep an eye on your e-mail for any correspondence . Current processing time is 62 days....!!!

Yes, no any further confirmation. You just need to wait, probably 4-5 months…someone submitted it last Nov and received it this March.

Hi, I left Canada on Feb 17th, 2023 after completing my 730 days residency obligation and before I left, i sent my application package, but it went to wrong address. Now I'm in India and can i apply online for pr card renewal to be sent to my mail address in Canada, since I will be returning after a few months. My existing pr expires by the end of July. Please advice.
No, you cannot duplicate submit your application. And also, PR card renewal application can only be applied inside of Canada.

如果旧PR的 first name 有空格 但是passport 上面没有空格会受影响吗？ 譬如PR 的first name 是Xiao ming, passport 上是Xiaoming.申请时候是按旧PR卡填还是按护照填
按旧卡填，如果想没空格，提供2个没空格的加拿大证件，写封解释信，试下看。以前可以，现在不知可行否。

Hello! I see there is a new requirement (proof of residency obligation). Are you able to please explain what needs to be done in this case, please? A little about me, I resigned from my last role back in September 30th, 2021 (almost 2 years) to be a stay-at-home dad and have not left Toronto since February, 2018. So, basically, I have not travelled outside the country since my last PR card renewal (November, 2018). What kind of documents can I provide, please? Thanks again!

Hello again! I have a question. Both of my parents and my little brother is also trying to apply for pr renewal. I’m just wondering if they can submit their application at the same time or do they need to create a new application for each of them? If so, do they need to pay the fees separately and upload their own receipts on their application)?? Or can we pay the fees altogether and upload 1 receipt to each of their application that shows the total of $150 for 3person??
Also, my little brother is only 12 years old. Does he need to create his own application too???
I recommend paper application and mail all the applications in one envelope to the government. In that case, you can pay the fee together and share one fee receipt.

You need to double check it if there are some small mistakes.
I double checked it 5 times, only thing I notice that is different is that when I enter my address of residence it doesn’t allow me to save with the blue save button, but when I click on the + button it allows me to save the page … so you have any experience in this field

I'm a permanent resident of Canada, my pr card expires next month, I've already applied for a renewal a couple of months ago, but now I'm on vacation out of Canada and because I won't be back till AFTER my pr card expires, I have to apply for a permanent resident travel document (PRTD). So.. I'm applying for a PRTD online, and my status on the IMM5444 form says "in progress" instead of "ready to submit". All the other documents I've uploaded are accepted and say "ready to sumbit", I haven't left any gaps in the dates, I have put all my information as I did in my pr renewal application when I did it before I left Canada for my vacation. I am trying to contact both IRCC and the visa centre in the country I'm at and I cannot find anyone.
You need to apply for PRTD at local visa centre using paper application.
