This is a great review. I was planning on making a trip to Philly but was unsure how decent this hotel would be . Is it walking distance to any attractions? Or are there any bars, food in walking distance?
Thanks so much! I was surprised by the hotel actually. It's been redone so that made it nicer. If you like to walk, yes there are a lot of things around like City Hall, Reading Terminal Market and places to eat. I was in town for a concert so I didn't do much other than eat and sleep, lol. I prefer the Phila Marriott Downtown or the Notary, as they are a couple blocks closer to things-and I have bad knees, and then the two Kimptons, Hotel Palomar (Rittenhouse Square area) and Hotel Monaco (this one is near the Liberty Bell). However, this hotel served its purpose and the staff was very nice. I'd stay again if I couldn't get a good rate at one of the other hotels. I did see some places to eat within a couple blocks. Also, Ubers are plentiful too if you don't want to walk. Hope that helps!
