Regardless of their age, KISS remains the way they were and are now. We are all growing up and getting older. Age makes itself felt. They say that Paul can't sing. And you yourself try to sing for so many years and splash on stage. After all, KISS, they are good fellows lasted for almost 50 years on stage.
Just watched them live last weekend. He did struggle a bit, but you’ve got to be impressed how good he still is. And they still put on a hell of a show!

I was the drummer and lead singer in a band years ago and know how horrible it is to lose your voice. Although it's okay now I had to do several shows with a hoarse voice and you just have to tough your way through it. It's frustrating and mortifying, but "the show must go on". If Paul has permanent damage that is a fucking shame. He was a trooper though, and people should empathize with his plight. I for one know that it is nightmare to bluff your way through a song when your voice is gone, let alone an entire concert. Paul deserves kudos. Bravo. Semper fi.

I miss this, This was my childhood man. I was seven and these kids I met introduced me to real music, before that all I heard was pop and rap on the radio with my dad, but these guys showed me something awesome. Me and those kids were great friends who would rock out to kiss all the time. I miss those days.

I like Kiss, a lot. I've been listening to their music since I was a kid. I had the chance to see them again, live, not so long ago (which is not as easy as you'd think when you don't live in the US). Even when you're a fan, you have to be deaf to say he still has the best voice, that's just not true. You can make a little comparison with Klaus Meine, who does not have such a hard time singing Scorpions' oldest songs... And I say that without hate or anything because I spent countless hours enjoying their music. Time does take its toll, that's it. I'd prefer to see them put and end to an impressive career (like Black Sabbath) instead of trying to stay too long (like AC/DC). That said, I was surprised by this vid, because he did sound much better when I saw them on stage. ... and Ace's guitar always sound so sharp, Gene is always such a showman, Peter is still the guy who made little me want to be a drummer ^^

I SNIPE it was Peter Criss who was the first drummer in Kiss then Eric Carr then Singer. Peter left the band and when Singer was in the band after Eric Carr passed he made a decision to have Peter come to the MTV unplugged session along with ace and that's when Peter came back into the spot light cause after the Kiss Unplugged they set out to do the reunion Tour with Peter and Ace in there original costumes after a few 100 shows all over kiss was still not the same so agin Peter was the first to say he was out then with that ace left agin so the only two people they had in the band before the reunion Tour was Tommy and Eric Singer so they made them into what they are today not to mention that Tommy had already been with KISS for a while he taught Ace all his Guitar solos that Ace had forgotten.
For someone who's been singing almost yearly since 1973, I understand why Paul sounds like he does and I don't mind at all. I'm just glad he's still trying.

I SNIPE it was Peter Criss who was the first drummer in Kiss then Eric Carr then Singer. Peter left the band and when Singer was in the band after Eric Carr passed he made a decision to have Peter come to the MTV unplugged session along with ace and that's when Peter came back into the spot light cause after the Kiss Unplugged they set out to do the reunion Tour with Peter and Ace in there original costumes after a few 100 shows all over kiss was still not the same so agin Peter was the first to say he was out then with that ace left agin so the only two people they had in the band before the reunion Tour was Tommy and Eric Singer so they made them into what they are today not to mention that Tommy had already been with KISS for a while he taught Ace all his Guitar solos that Ace had forgotten.
And they still got it!!!!!
