Nah there are balanced team events. But you need a spreadsheet of everybody joining and their ranks, then immediately assign a team day 1, 3 weeks ago after creating balanced enough teams. MAYBE taking into consideration pairs or groups of 3 that would like to play with each other. Its hard for creators to have connections accross that wide a range of skill to balance their own teams
@@harpot678 agree bro, it would be nice to see some content creators play with some new smaller creators, which would make it more about the Twitch community interacting with different communities. Instead of having a team like rays team that's pretty much mostly her friends that aren't very good at the game.
@@harpot678 Maybe they could have a point based system where certain ranks determine a certain amount of points with additional points added for pro FPS players coming in from outside the game. For example, Celestial+ : 12 points Grandmaster: 10 points Diamond: 6 Points Platinum and under: 5 Points Players will get +2 (ex-Pro FPS player) or +1 (Top 500) in another FPS game if diamond or lower to compensate for their lack of game mechanic experience but gun skill still transferring over. Team: 49 points max, with a max limit of 2 players in the Celestial and Grandmaster rank respectively. or something along these lines, this would give a better team balance then saying 4 player over diamond rank. btw, I am randomly throwing those numbers. This would allow the team captains to have more accurate figures of who they can invite despite it being more troublesome to form a team.
@@harpot678 Basically this. Have a preset list of invitees, possibly talk to creators to see if maybe there's a friend they'd like to be on a team with if possible, at least take into consideration known friendships and try not to throw someone into a team entirely of strangers, then manually make the teams by hand and rebalance as needed. Genuinely, even a hyper-introvert like Doki will be fine if she has a friend or two around that she's comfortable with, which would then make it much easier to balance the rest of her team to not be utterly nuts. Throw Sykkuno and Ellum together, and you could probably slap those two with nearly any group and make it work. Maybe keep Rae and Eskay together, since Rae seems very comfortable around Eskay and Eskay is having a lot of fun showing her the ropes. You get the idea. it’s simple.. think of it like football. Defense in on the goal line.. there’s no room for error. It’s the same way in the spawn room. We don’t have space to flank or get good position /high ground. Just because every other team smurfed around the rules to skate by, they outsmarted you. Shrouds team, Xqc's team all have good smurf players I get it. You messed up the tourney because you didnt want to lose & complained.
@@CarnageJesterX why is bro crashing out on a random comment
@@michaelurmo7984 no clue but haters are wild ngl, I’ve seen repeats of this guy’s behaviour from other ppl in the xqc vs necros vid. They’re like NPCs lol
@@michaelurmo7984bro copy pasted his comment from another post he did to another comment strip. Bro’s just lazy to even make a point.
Trying to make streamer content "fair" is just not going to work in the first place.
They should just randomize the team and the streamers and be done with it.
For example,
Celestial+ : 12 points
Grandmaster: 10 points
Diamond: 6 Points
Platinum and under: 5 Points
Players will get +2 (ex-Pro FPS player) or +1 (Top 500) in another FPS game if diamond or lower to compensate for their lack of game mechanic experience but gun skill still transferring over.
You just described a method of being "fair" though.
This really didn't have to be such a disaster.
Twitch trying not to get an L challenge IMPOSSIBLE
Twitch rivals is literally bringing a bunch of toddlers with big ego's to compete against eachother. There's drama every single time. There was WAY more drama on the rust one.
It's always the noob streamer that get some exposure with that that can't keep getting clapped by everyone and will yapping around
I like how in the clip of the crashout they're not even agreeing, "don't they know what's good for content" and "of course it makes sense to pick the best players they can, I would too"
Bro, spawn camping can happen. Even among pros, sometimes one team is stomping, then stars align and they get stomped fight after fight.
Spawn camping does not happen in pro there needs to be a massive skill disparity for it to happen
@@RepozeOW One would think so. But you can watch any of past overwatch league seasons and you will see it happening a lot.
someone needs to do test on why it still happens in high ranks even though its dumb thing to do
it’s simple.. think of it like football. Defense in on the goal line.. there’s no room for error. It’s the same way in the spawn room. We don’t have space to flank or get good position /high ground. It’s not really complicated. If it has a brain, it can be pressure and Pressure alone can break a team.

So Abe locked in his team, then they changed the rules, which fucked them. Idk why Rae took it so personal, but Twitch should not have changed the rules after the initial roster ranks were announced.
Its most likely because shes dealt with twitch being absurdly incompetent in the past and this shows there is zero improvement. This same situation has occurred in twitch rivals multiple times in the past.

Happens w apex too when twitch rivals are doing something. Pros, content creators, pros that're retired from comp and just content creators. I would like to point out that this is why bureaucracy exists. In the ideal scenario the middle layer smooths the top’s idea out to be functional. It’s not always the best to tell everyone everything.
If you remove the middle layer or the middle layer is incompetent these kind of thing happen.
My only problem is how tf is it almost impossible to find someone diamond or bellow? I'm pretty sure there are way more diamond and bellow than grandmaster
That they’re friendly with? That’s all I can think of.
Almost all of Twitch's decisions are made out of an emotional reaction to things. Everyone working there seems extremely sensitive, incompetent, and unprofessional imo. They hear a few popular streamers whining and then cater to their every whim, even if it's unprofessional or unfair for everyone else. Embarrassing company.

Was the new rule good? No but Rae had the chance to change her team (like bogur did) to fit the new rule and she didn't want to. So why cry about it
Its was abe’s team, rae was not the leader. Abe said it would be rude/mean to kick his teammates, they were one of the first teams to lock in their players. They’ve been practicing together for weeks, kicking someone after all that would be hella rude 😭😭
@minty2119 he made It seem like it was Rae was leader. In the end tho that whole dilemma happened to other teams. Teams training together for weeks only to get snuffed by the rules.

Because that is not something an event should expect. Since when is it professional to randomly be like nope your cut because the rules changed and force your participants to make the cuts. That’s completely and utterly unacceptable in pretty much any type of somewhat professional setting. That’s not even something you should do in your personal settings. It’s rude to say “yeah you actually aren’t good enough to play with us.” And I do not blame ABE…whose team it was at all for not accepting that. The rule should have never changed as people made up bs excuse that they ‘couldn’t find lower elo players’ not to even get into the fact these are busy people.
