Rio and Hiachi have the saddest backstories! This is also kind of similar to when you read the book at the first part of chapter 1 book 2! (Rio, or Rin killed her own sister cause she wanted to also feed herself and thought that Mio or her sister was feeding herself. While Hiachi, she got betrayed by Sama just because Hiachi wanted a friend and her soul now rests in peace ever since Hiachi's Request and Chapter 4.) And also, I realized the main target of the 4 Evil Gods is Girls. Yes yes! Girls indeed, Probably because they are weaker than the boys.

The video is very good, the animation is great, but now I feel very bad for Rin and Hiachi since she always seemed to be blamed, while Hiachi was just an innocent girl who was betrayed by sama.
My opinion on their relationship was that rin envied mil or didn't like her at the start but still clung onto her cuz that's what sisters do. However mio looked up to her and unconditionally loved her. But jealousy over took BOTH of them. Rin already sorta hated ish her, and jealousy made the hatred worse. Mio would have forgiven her, but she was horrified when rin started eating her. She felt immense envy on how she worked so hard and she would be the one suffering. So jealousy punished rin , and slightly mio, as she may regret tormenting rin in the future but jealousy controls her etc idk??

If some people don’t understand the story so the tale started as 2 sisters living in their home together but they were poor and didn’t have any money to buy food But rin the older sister started seeing in some nights of young sis mio coming happily to their home,over the days rin was confused soon she started thinking that mio must have been eating without her in rins envy she ate mio but then she saw why her sis was happy because she was making money for the food,now it’s rin responsibility to feed mio that’s why we gotta give rats because it’s the only thing in the house that they can eat rin is also sad and regrets of what she did to mio :(
One thing I’ve noticed is that Rin’s face is always depicted as much more sallow and thin as compared to Mio. I don’t know if this was intentional or just the design, but personally if I were in the sisters’ situation, as an older sibling I would give the little food I had to my younger sibling so they could eat a little more every day. If this is true for Rin, it could add a little more depth to the story and give Rin that extra feeling of betrayal, like “I did so much for you and suffered for it, now it’s your turn” and would make her feel even worse after killing Mio. It’s a lot more coherent in my head so if you’re confused feel free to ask questions :)
i love how she looks like granny but chinese edition and how she screams at the top of her lungs at you its like a foutage of a child after playing the memic for the first time and screaming with his mouth swallowing his microphone
I feel so bad for Mio and Rin because 1 Mio gets eaten by her sister and 2 poor Rin has too probably try too help her sister and get herself things 😭😭😭
