I love DCJ! Really made me a believer in G horns The only thing I don’t like is the DCI purists in the comment section complaining about how bad DCI in the states is lol. We just want to play music man.
There have been amazing groups playing both Bb and G over the years! I like both, but wish G horns were much more popular these days. I appeciate any ensemble that works hard and pushes volume through their horns :)
I forgot about the Olympics being in Tokyo this summer so I don't imaging I'll be going to Japan for Nationals. It kills me to see 12 contras crushed into the endzone for the entire show, that's awesome!
@@Inspadave I was thinking the same thing... On a performance area that small, an out of place prop could be very dangerous.. not to mention the legs were sticking up too.

I guess it’s illegal to have fun anymore. How about you go watch something else. DCI is about music in motion not Music in G bugles.

@pearlsnaredrummer77 look I’m very confident you have absolutely no idea what you’re talking about. Woodwinds are not allowed in DCI and they won’t be allowed next season either. DCI employees don’t even have a say in what a corp decides to use as a uniform. You saw one photo of a group and decided to believe that’s what all DCI is, you saw a few headlines and decided to form you opinion on that without thinking of anything else. You saw one post on your precious drum corps planet and decided it was fact. You have absolutely no idea what’s going on in DCI because after you aged out in the good ol’ 50s or 60s you left drum corps and moved on to other things, then decided to come back and were surprised that- like everything else DCI moved on along with the times and it was no longer what you did back in the good ol’ days. DCI has many flaws but you have no right to speak on them because clearly you aren’t updated with the times. We- the new generation are updated with DCI and we know what’s going on, you have no idea. I personally have a deep respect for the drum corps of the past and will always feel that way, it’s people like you that make some SICK because you shame the name of DCI anyone who would look into DCI from a normal persons stand point and would see your comments would have a terrible view of DCI because it’s people like you who ruin it. Go back to your boomer friends and complain there. We are going to have fun and we are going to do it the way it’s done now, if you’re so upset go start your own drum corps circuit and leave us alone.

Nice to see the Inspires finally get what they have deserved the past few years. I still find it hard to believe they did not win guard.
