He wasn’t planning on faking his death he was actually gonna die but his powers that he got from the omega weapon kicked in practically Saving his life and since the Blimp blew up with no proof that Kid Danger survived the natural thing would be to assume that he died
Also I guess Henry wanted to move on from Kid Danger so he chose to basically leave that part of him dead and move on to bigger things
