Actually, the song is 10 years old. The official video for the song wasn't released until 2015. It was fairly popular back in 2020 due to the game Friday Night Funkin' and a fan-made Hatsune Miku mod.
I think the idea of the lyrics was that there's an abuse of kids by their parents when they always compare them to others and want them be better and better, doesn't let them be just kids - always want them to be in the spotlight but don't give them enough love at the same time
I don't know how it is in most parts of the world, but it's pretty harsh in Japan, especially when a family has money, where parents even compete for pre-school spots because a lot of prestigious schools, from pre-school to high school and beyond, work together and you get preferential treatment if you are in one of those "elevator environments". Those parents don't really care what their kids want, they mostly just want to "save face" and keep/enhance their status between other parents under the guise of "wanting the best education for their children". Often it's especially bad if it's a son that's supposed to be an heir of a big or wealthy company.
WOW, Ado’s voice is so impactful… like she’s able to sing a character with vocals, (ya know)! Loved this and your pure joy is infectious! THX’s QoFy ♥️2u
So, here's some background on the song. "Love me, Love me, Love me (Aishite, Aishite, Aishite)" is a song written and produced by music producer Kikuo featuring Hatsune Miku, a vocal synthesis program created to sing people's songs. It was released in 2013 for his album Kikuo Miku 3, but it didn't gain a lot of recognition until its music video was posted in, I believe, 2015. Kikuo is known for songs with a lot of polarizing and disturbing subjects, like the one in this song. Great reaction!!! I've been waiting and wanting for you to react to this one! If you want to hear more of Ado's lower range, you have to hear "Villain" and "Overdose!!" Girl has range!
She just released thr live version from her concert in LA. Its as insane as the studio version (but sounds a little more circus/carnival like and less video game like)
I'm always looking forward to your reactions! There are other videos that I would like you to react to. It's "Bling-Bang-Bang-Born" sung by "Creepy Nuts". This is the opening of an anime called "MASHLE". Be sure to watch "The first take" after the opening video. I think you'll like it!
Check out all Ado reactions 😊 :

The original song was popular 9 years ago, but it's funny that it's now being appreciated overseas thanks to Ado.
