Mariah did not want to come out as pregnant because she has had a lot of fertility issues then so she took a sip of the alcohol (or fakes it). The subtitles were pretty accurate. If you translate Dutch to English, word for word it sounds like word spaghetti. It takes twice as many words to say the same thing in Dutch. The subtitles caught the gist of what she is saying and it was accurate. It just left out all the adjectives.
The Dutch words are kind of off, the “It’s not as nice as I thought” was actually not what she said, she was saying much more calmed down words. I’m Dutch myself and she wasn’t dragging her really, she was really calm.

I've been saying this about Ellen for years but no one wanted to believe me. The way that woman shades her audiences, talks down to her guests, has gotten nasty when there is no reason to get nasty and the rumor that went around a while back where someone who worked for the show said that if her hairstylist didn't get her hair perfect every single time, she'd automatically fire them.

LA is a crappy city to begin with. I'm in a different state, and it would be normal to be friendly. Everyone is just trying to get famous in California, that's why. The subtitles were pretty accurate. If you translate Dutch to English, word for word it sounds like word spaghetti. It takes twice as many words to say the same thing in Dutch. The subtitles caught the gist of what she is saying and it was accurate. It just left out all the adjectives.

LA is a crappy city to begin with. I'm in a different state, and it would be normal to be friendly. Everyone is just trying to get famous in California, that's why. Really ironic that friendliness isn't a virtue to them. This is also why TH-camrs who move there usually have some kind of break down. It's cold and shallow.
Ellen is only a sweetheart to all the kardashian-jenners she lives for them celebrities that aren't that famous and regular people that she has to interview she's always like whatever with them because she has to do it for the show Ellen has to be around a Lester's they're my personal friends I have their phone numbers...

I’ve been to a live taping of Ellen and she seems incredibly cold, condescending, and rude to her guests. No greetings, no thanks, nothing. The camera turns off, and then so does the charm and the smile.

A lot of celebs have called her out for being rude and some say how she backstabs them , she promises them no personal questions but then she does so , without them expecting but because they wouldnt want to be termed rude by lgtbq community they just smile and act all happy but promise to never come back .
This is even more telling as dutch social culture is very direct, and usually we're the ones being called rude so if Nikkie considered Ellen rude, that's saying a lot.

For exemple like I just said, in most big cities of France like Paris, it's "weird" and "annoying" to talk with strangers, to be polite, you have to ignore them. But when I go to italy, I have to be more open with strangers because people find it polite to be friendly with everyone .
We have to be accepting of other poeple's culture instead of saying "they are rude". It's only from your point of vue, maybe they are trying their best to be nice and polite...They just don't know how.

I've been noticing a trend with Ellen over the last few years, just a couple weird things here and there. Like she was a hardcore vegan animal rights activist, while simultaneously being a spokesperson for Covergirl and Olay, companies that both tested on animals. That, and I've heard multiple people mention how Ellen is really "sensitive to smell" (or just really entitled) but she has a bowl of gum on a table beside her office door so that whenever someone has to come in to talk to her, their breath smells like the gum she likes... also she treats her assistant Andy like shit even though he's a strong fucking man for overcoming his addiction!!!

A lot of people that have worked for ellen have said that she is really disrespectful to her staff. Shes also rude to people who serve her food. It's not a lie that Ellen is a terrible person. When I was younger I used to view her as really nice, but as I got older I thought she was a bit rude on the show. I looked back at old clips and realized she was always that way. Strange how you don’t pick up on those things as a kid.

If you pay attention, you can see it. I always dislike how she puts guests in a uncomfortable position to talk about their personal lives. Like, she can do it backstage is she truly wants to know. Also, she never seems truly engaged with who she’s interviewing. I stopped watching her a long time ago.
