tubenshaft just soak the poppy seeds in warm water for half an hour and grind. Hope this helps 🙂

tubenshaft hi again!! the key to a beautiful gravy is roasting the masala right. When you add the tomatoes and the poppy seeds paste, roast it till you feel that the masala is oozing oil of its own (on the sides) do this on medium flame and you can also add a spoon or two of water in between if you feel that the masala is burning. When the masala starts oozing oil, then add the water. 🙂 As for the poppy seeds, try soaking them for a bit longer 1-2 hours in Luke warm water. Hope this helps 🙂🙂
