My first 6 years in Florida I lived aboard my sailboat anchored in various locations. You are right, Im sure most people thought I was homeless. We were referred to as "those boaters". Best years of my life so far!
First of all, Wavey Gravy is SUCH a GOOD girl! I’m so happy you two have each other. This video was the first to pop up on my feed when I got up. What a great way to start the day! Is it humid there this time of year? I live around so many homeless people, that I’d have to say the backpack while walking around town alone, is a sign. I counted 7 homeless people in a seven mile stretch today on my way to a flea market…and it was early! I counted 7 different homeless people on the way home on the same stretch. (Oddly enough I saw seven turkeys wandering around on the rural highway I ended up on.) One new homeless camp sprung up this week in Salem on that stretch in a shopping center parking lot. All in RV’s, campers and cars. I see women my age who look like they really have their shit together, pushing shopping carts full of their belongings. I love that you find a clever way to get yourself to walk. It is super important for our physical and mental health.
Hi Eva, the weather--temp wise--has been amazing. 70s during the day. 60s at night. The winds have been up though, I guess it's typical for spring in Florida. We're almost to Georgia now. The west coast is loaded with homeless. I can't see it getting any better with housing prices and rent. That's why I live off grid, leave them nothing to take from us. As self sufficient as possible. Slow and simple. I see things getting for worse in America. I hate being so negative, but it's obvious.
@@brentonsriversidehermitage You’re doing it right in every respect. I’ve been telling all kinds of people about you…youngsters too. Talk about breaking out of some boxes! The way i say it is shallow spots. Lol
Gas cans probably just need a new gasket.
They definitely do. I'm going to build some pods for the back under the fan tail with fuel compartments.
@@brentonsriversidehermitage Sounds like a good idea👍
Marinas are expensive
They sure are. Budget breakers
I don't know about actually being homeless, but I've struggled against the judgement of others all my life because I haven't ever aspired to live in a "nice" home. Didn't Jesus show us the way? 😊
He sure did. ;) I'm anchored across from million dollar homes tonight. Can't imagine the upkeep and taxes
Hi
Hi Logan. ;)
I don't think people think you are homeless with all that gas.
Right?! Maybe a domestic terrorist. Lol
I’m thinking you have an honest face so homelessness doesn’t come into play with you. everyone you meet seems to like you. You get away with things like bringing wavey into the market and filling up fuel on the shanty out of gas cans. I probably get arrested for doing those things, L O L
I don't know! There might be a 6th sense thing going on. There's definitely "tells" and red flags, but I've missed them for years. I have a huge blond spot to narcissists...and they've capitalized on them. I've had to "harden my heart" as the song says. I'm sure I'm not the only one.
To much talking into camera.
You're literally the only one that says that. You know you don't have to watch...right?
In Florida, dogs aren't permitted inside grocery stores although I don't think many stores enforce the law. The Publix I shop at has signs at door restricting pets.
The below the basket trick keeps working;)
