Glad to see the review of this mattress. Nice to have a lower priced option but some times you have to pay more to get a better bed so will keep my options open as I look else where. I did notice this bed that in the hips and shoulders you did have some yellow but at least no red.
This might work for my son- he's always hot! He has a dream cloud (or something like that).. but it's been a few years, it's probably time to start looking for a new one. I like that these are more reasonably priced.
I’d never heard of Dream Foam or Arctic Dreams before this, though I do know Brooklyn Bedding from some of your other videos. I see it’s a similar color scheme. Very cool that it has gel foam within the layers. Plus coils. Very interesting bed overall. Loved that golf ball bounce 😆
Thanks for the video, Martin. I’m not looking for a cooling mattress- I’m always cold 🥶 Looking forward to the next video! I also want a more luxurious mattress- say 14 inches thick instead of 10z
Seems like a typical hybrid with memory foam, but with specific target of cooling. I like the name---seems like "Arctic Dreams" is one of the few mattresses with a name that reflects what it is intended to help with.
Although this mattress has a cooling cover for hot sleepers like me, it doesn't really look as durable as the higher end hybrid beds. I am taller and heavier and although I rotate the mattress every 6 months, 5 to 7 years isn't long enough for a quality sleep investment. Thanks for the review
Did Dreamfoam rename this? I’m looking at the Hybrid on their website and that’s all it’s named. They have a TH-cam video linked on the product page that is titled Arctic Dreams.
The bouncy top layer on both of these mattresses is a no go for me. I need a mattress that has slow dense memory foam on the top layer with coils underneath. As well as firmness options with a construction for a heavier sleeper (aka as hubby:). Brooklyn bedding is a fantastic company and I do have the signature mattress for my guestroom. My guests and husband love it! Thanks Martin 😊
Not sure if cooling covers on the mattress really make a difference since most people are going to put a protective cover and a sheet over it...it seems like they would maybe start offering cooling waterproof mattress protectors than putting that tech in the mattress its self. either way this one is a bit on the firmer side for me I prefer a softer profile.
For the price this is a good value, but I'd probably compare it very closely to the Brooklyn Bedding Aurora to see which one will be the better long term pick.
Heading to the website to compare to more upscale models by brooklyn bedding as I'm not sure this provides enough features and benefits that I am looking for as I do not sleep hot and I doubt I'd buy a mattress that needs replacement in 5 years.

Brooklyn Bedding would be my pick. I am 230 and i need lots of cooling. The deciding factor is the warranty. Thank you for the review.
Since I am a back sleeper and am looking for a good value, I'll look into this mattress!

My spouse and I both sleep hot so the cooling cover is very intriguing. I think I'd lean towards the hybrid for a traditional bouncy mattress feel

Love the pocketed coils..but a more quilted cover atop a matreess topper for extra comfort.
I love durable mattresses! Like the old fashion kind.
I really like the construction. Gel memory foam layer with a cooling layer on top.
Do the actual sheets you pair with your mattress stifle the cooling benefits of this mattress or are any sheets fine?
Its affordable and sleeps cool... whats not to like? I would like to try one out.

Would love to try the dream foam arctic Brooklyn bedding seems like a great company.
Is this a better cooling option to the Brooklyn Aurora or Ghostbed Luxe?

This mattress is excellent for rv bed replacement
I just purchased for your rv!
Are you tall or is the bed short?
I prefer the hybrids esp the winkbed and saatva
I would want a lot more foam that this one has
Brother that bell sound affect nearly made me deaf
Looks like an affordable mattress with decent options, but not enough luxury for me.
