- The show kinda went downhill when they recast Igor in season 8.
I always thought the silence between voice lines in these games lent themselves really well to sitcom audience reactions/canned laughter. The result is perhaps one of the worst ideas I've had so far.
Enjoy!
Audio from Persona 4 Golden. - เกม
The fucking audience cheering in the background when Adachi walked into frame is just great.
Accurate representation of the Persona 4 fanbase
To be fair, P4G anime first opening is 100% sitcom already
it is, i noticed that fully
Using the piano bit at the end of "Shadow World" for the introductory segue was an inspired touch.
That was Pursuing My True Self
@@WizzOfIzz No...
It's still Shadow World.
@@WizzOfIzz I think you're thinking about the spoiler warning. Shadow World played after that as an opening.
oh mb
Kinda hate how well this works honestly......
Aaaaand now my brain's imagining the Friends opening with the P4 cast and now "kinda hate" has become "DEFINITELY!!!!!" 🤣
Persona 4 was an American sitcom based off of the video game of the same name. It aired from April of 2008 before abruptly ending on November of the same year. This was due to the actor of Tohru Adachi showing up drunk on set and throwing a female member of the audience into a television set. He then rambled about "bitches and whores" for several minutes before being apprehended by local police.
This show was also the very first television appearance of the then small supermarket branch known as Junes. The director focused on shooting the majority of the show inside the store due to not having enough money to rent out sets. In return, Junes funded the production, allowing for guest stars like Japanese idol Rise "Risette" Kujikawa, as well as Naoto Shirogane, who would then go on to be the world's youngest detective at age 15.
The show focused on the main character, Yu Narukami, as he temporarily resides within the sleepy town of Inaba. There, he lives with his uncle, Ryotaro Dojima, as well as his cousin, Nanako Dojima. Narukami then discovers the Midnight Channel, as well as the Shadows that reside in it. The mascot character Teddie would then assist Narukami and his friends as they deal with Shadows.
There was a rumor that the Jack Bros (a trio consisting of Jack Frost, Pyro Jack, and Jack The Ripper) would show up for the season 1 finale, but the director has yet to confirm these claims.
Great vegetables! I mean, video
Laugh track ensues.
yukiko is so perfect for this alternative world
Making Yu Jerry Seinfeld is so fuckin funny to me lmao I could already imagine him going “what’s the deal with all these shadows?!” While talking to Kramer
YOSUKE STOP LOOKING DOWN
top tier comedy sitcom
This is far too underrated. You gained a sub.
Today's episode: The one wheres teddie grew a body
Specifically
Teddies reincarnation S6E9
Why does a Persona Sitcom actually seem like the perfectly balanced idea? it's both hilarious while it also is dumb af but I like the idea, especially that bit of Shadow World at the start of the episode, and the cut away part way through to signify commercial break was perfect
Mazinga
That’s awesome! I love this!
This is amazing 😂
Nanako: every day’s great at your junes🎵 i love junes!
Yuske: and I love nanako!!!❤

Every time teddie talked about scoring with chie I thought about yu pushing him down a flight of stairs
Make more or ill bomb something of importance
I loved the final image of Chie leading Teddie away
