Fishing for pike in Ireland at Castlehamilton with Rodtrip

This short video summarises our Rodtrip in Ireland at Castlehamilton (2015). We were looking for big pikes on the fly on boat or from float tubes. A really nice experience in an awesome destination. Highly recommended !

Love your videos. I saw this one last year and it prompted my nephew and I to bring pontoon boats over to ireland and to specifically try Cavan and Castlehamilton. We had a blast and caught about a dozen jack pike up to a metre. Audrey and Allan couldn't have been nicer hosts and showed us to a different lake each day. The last day we fished Lough Oughter with the pontoon boats and even rowed out to Clough Oughter Castle. Even though it was July and not the right season, we had fun. Thanks for your video. I'm sure that you inspire others to go on the same adventures you take. I know I appreciated the information. All the best!

Bonjour super vidéo, je suis allé à castlehamilton en 2014 c est super, Allan et Audrey sont aux petits soins, les pubs et les brochets sont au rendez vous. C'était génial et encore bravo pour votre vidéo elle reflète vraiment l'ambiance de killeshandra.

+Raymond Peeters I live in ireland as well. ..and I want to buy one...but i'm afraid of cold water for my legs. ...like how many hours can you stay in water? ?

With Neoprene waders, you can stay very very long (full day) I think you will be tired before being cold :-)
