This method of silver polishing is applicable for stainless steel also
Stainless steel has a natural oxide layer that prevents adhesion of most plating solutions. This silver can be applied to stainless only if the steel is pretreated with a strong acid gold or nickel wood solution prior to silver plating

Unfortunately no. This product works on Silver, Gold, Palladium, Nikel and related alloys. You can use it also on Tin, Lead, Zinc, Cadmium, Aluminum, Iron and its alloys, but first an intermediate layer of Palladium or Nikel is required.

It could work, but it tends to oxidize soon so it's better to apply an intermediate bronze layer between copper and silver.
