Hi, dear hotel booking via discover qatar is nonrefundable and you must book as per the length of your stay.
Suppose you book for 2 nights so qatar border security will only issue 2day visa on arrival.
So I suggest to book a hotel total length of your trip otherwise you need to go back to Saudi border and only reenter Qatar boarder after 1hr. Hope this will clarify your requested query.

Dear minimum stay or booking via discover qatar is 2 nights doubble check on website otherwise you will not get visa on arrival.

Yes, prior to hotel booking from the Discover Qatar app only. On that basis you will get on arriva Qatarl visa issue
And if you book any hotel from Qatar discover your on arrival visa fees is free ,means only you have to show your hotel booking only from Discover Qatar ,they will issue you visa accordingly your hotel stay
