Other than getting to see the final result, your semi-broken english and unscripted, rambly voiceovers are some of the things I love the most about having your videos playing in the background while working - so I don't care how you use 'directly' :) *meant in the least offensive way possible - I'm not a native english speaker either*

Literally these videos made my day. SMOE is just a complete artist and his level of painting is from another planet. I sometimes watch them before going to sleep and the sound of the spray cans idkw help me to fall asleep so easily. Kinda asmr.👍

I enjoy watching the longer videos with the voiceovers because I just started working with spray cans about a month ago. I built a 8×16 foot practice wall in my backyard that I paint on. Your videos have been a massive help and inspiration! Thank you Smoe!
immediately is used in a "time" sense, and directly is more used as a "sequence/order" sense :) you can go immediately over it without any 'time' in between, or you can directly go over it without any'thing' in between. pretty sure there are overlapping cases, but in general.... there you go 😎

Smoe it's been a year, but breakfast this morning was a pumpkin spice muffin and an espresso. Simple but enough until the first break at work snack time.
Love what you do. It inspires me to get back into art. It's been 10 years since my last sketching exercise, 12 since my last finished piece, and 14 since my last letters. One day, I'll find the time.

Q&A:
What are your thoughts on the concept of ”kill your darlings”? What are your feelings when/if you practice ”kill your darlings”?
As a music producer, it tok me years to become fully comfortable with this concept, but after a while it became a healthy and natural part of the creative process. These days, I truly enjoy the confidence of knowing early in the process if an idea works or not 🙂

Raw videos are the best , so much great information. 👏👏👏👏
Immediately is generally used when talking about time frame. You can do something immediately after doing something else. "Directly" would be physical placement of the paint directly on top of the last layer. However... you can also say, "I'm going directly home" meaning not stopping anywhere else... while "I'm going home immediately" gives a sense of urgency. You're english is great... keep pushing and stay up
