The tutorial itself is pretty good. But the extension is unesesery complicated. You need to constantly siwtch between the local and the remote files. When I want to use FTP/sFTP I want something that can easily browse the remote server. I don't need to download/sync the files locally. I want to edit them online on-the-fly.

how can I use this extention with a .pem keyfile? when I try to specify to use the key (equivalent to "sftp user@host -i key.pem") it tells me that all configured authentication methods have failed. I believe i have added the "privateKeyPath" config line correctly.
