The Aesthetics of Data

Much of Jonathan Berger's music is inspired by data. In this lecture, he discussed the use of medical and neuroscience imaging in his recent opera, "Theotokia," and in his current collaboration with the Kronos Quartet, "My Lai." Berger also described interpretive, diagnostic and therapeutic implications of complex numerical data.
