It is true Carl, there were alot of human moments underneath the bombacity of the over the top storylines. The characters were so wonderfully likeable. It pulled everything together.
Beautiful work from Jessica Tuck and Erika Slezak when Viki talks to Megan for the first time. Heartbreaking, yet so subtle and soft. People mostly remember the OTT moments from the Rauch era but they had the quieter moments too, which helped balance things out. I like that they shot the reveal on location but is it me or is throwing a lotion bottle not exactly dramatic? What next, Megan throwing a sponge at him? Roger patronizes Carrie once again. He wants to shut her out entirely.
Megan should have talked tomTina and Cord . They had similar stories about their parents. This was the third time in 4 years OLTL gad this type of storyline.
Oh, so Megan is just supposed to forget about her feelings, and the betrayal about her true parentage, to celebrate Roger and Viki's love for one another, Sarah? Megan is selfish? She should put her OWN betrayal aside and grieve for Roger and Viki's love affair cut short? I never really liked Sarah. Megan was my all-time favorite character on OLTL.
And the character and I have gone through many common things, too, so I can identify with her. First, the same thing about her parentage was revealed to me too...I know how it feels...and I have suffered with Lupus as well. I just 'get' Megan.
I always thought Sarah was attractive. As for Rodger IMO that was not the proper place/time to tell Megan. Not at your daughters work place he should have waited till they were alone at her house/apartment or his house/place of residence. She was at work you idiot let her concentrate on that it's going to be tough enough no matter where but don't lay that news on there.
victor lord was a MOSTER in his life to Vicky!!

Just like Antonio followed Tess to Napa ;-).
