I love Rexxar. He is so honorable and loyal. He represents what it means to be Horde. Even after killing Daelin he tells Jaina to remember him as a proud warrior.

It would be fun to see a fight between the two and see who would win. I know Jaina is the worlds 3rd strongest mage (after Khadgar and Azshara), but Rexxar is no pushover. He would most likely find a way to fight a powerful mage like Jaina.

I played it years before the first.
I played the fuck out of those few missions back in '04 and '05 on an overheating laptop. Very well designed HUGE maps with lots of sidequests, minibosses and treasure. So much fun. Warcraft 3 has a charm that no other RTS has.

This. Im actually dumbfounded that everything is just forgiven and over after the first part of BfA. Like, she just straight up backstabbed her father and the entire kingdom. At least her mother should be craving for her fucking death by now.
Jesus fuck you guys. You REALIZE WHY this admiral had to die, right? He committed unprovoked attacks, and violated treaties by enforcing his authority over jaina's forces. WHILE she could've rebelled, it was her father, and she did genuinely care. Don't say jaina is at fault here. Proudmoore genocided out of racism, then the horde left in peace after killing the only man incharge was dead.

I think the best thing for Daelin to have to done is to have LISTENED to Jaina, she was educated in Dalaran, had seen so much of the world and had fought many battles without him. He could have settled in Kalimdor near Theramore as a second major outpost, with his strong fleet intact and ready to respond to any Horde aggression in the future -- but not initiating conflict with the orcs needlessly.

Daelin was an old warrior who fought the Horde in the first and second wars, and he only saw the savagery and brutality that the first Horde possessed. I agree he should have listened to Jaina, but for someone to experience such bloodshed from a savage race that only knew war you can’t blame him for wanting to end the Horde.

Sam Brooks He could have wait until he got the backing of the Alliance before doing something stupid as attacking the Horde with his forces alone. Got destroyed by the Horde's combined might and only reignited tensions which weakened peace talks.
He saw the countless dead from the previous war with the Horde. The endless savagery and slaughter, the spoiled and mutilated children lying in the streets of the capital. Jaina could never even imagine it. When the Orcs began centralizing their power in Ogrimar and rebuilding the horde, he had to strike before they got out of hand (which they did and led to his downfall. In the end there was no way to hold back the forces Thrall and Rexxar had amassed).
Years laters, after witnessing the destruction of Theramore, Jaina finally realized her father was right. Even if Thrall and Rexxar were good people, war is in their people's blood. It was only a matter of time.
Now, older and wiser, Jaina takes up the mantle her father's mantle as Admiral Proudmoore.

Other azeroth nations like/accept orcs, for example Kalimdor taurens (except grimtotem tribe), darkspear trolls, hinterlands trolls, zandalari trolls, the Forsaken, Blood Elves, Goblins of all the world (ofc no pirates and villains ), Highmountain, valarjars, furbolgs of moonglade and winterspring, Suramar, Argent Dawn and crusade ( there were orcs members ), even pirates accept them in ranks. stop saying "alien" as an insult or bad thing because orcs occupied no-one lands (pretty shitty lands). the only one that hates the orcs is Alliance
Draenei's didn't go burning down your homes, instead they only come and tell you to "open your hart to deh light" Orcs on the other hand say "zug zug" whilst chopping down ashenvale forest to build Orgrimaar. And now they burn Teldrassil, thats a really big burning tree thats going to pollute the air in Azeroth. Thx hordes, as if cataclysm wasn't enough global warming.

He moved to outland when the darkportal opened. There is a questline where the heroes help him rejoin his halfbleed clan. Even if he wouln't that if you see an npc in one place, that doesnt mean that he is there lorewise. It is an MMO and back then ther was no phaseing on wow so even if you finish a quest you could see that others doing it again.

And this sums up Blizzard's writing in a nutshell. Sylvanas is absolutely right - Anduin is delusional if he thinks he can secure a true no-questions-asked equal-terms peace. Too many members on both sides hunger for blood, and the Alliance is driving itself into a corner by allying the only party out there that's more bloodthirsty than the Gilneans. It doesn't even justify the burning of Teldrassil - it just means whoever's in charge of writing the story for the series is only capable of boring extremes, with little regard for things like nuance.

Daelin Proudmoore, by far one of my all time favorite Warcraft characters, Next to Anduin Lothar and Khadgar. He fought and died for what he believed in, he died a true warrior trying to protect his people from a Bloodthirsty race, hes a Hero in my book. Also every quote he did in that mission was gold. "Blackbloods" as a racial slur towards Orcs is prefect.
Yet, in his zeal, Daelin became the very monster he believed he was fighting. His endgame was genocide for all Horde races, and that alone makes him the villain.

It's interesting to see the evolution of the Kul Tiras humans as being generic humans, even all the way up through most of WoW, to now. It's clear, from Proudmoore's speech, that they never had much more plans for these guys and Kul Tiras considered itself very closely aligned with Old Stormwind and Lordaeron.
Guess it's payback time. My guess is that Rexxar will die by Jaina's hands.

He became one of many epic characters from Warcraft 3 who do jack shit in the WoW storyline, because Blizzard's writing became shit.
Basicly he just wandered in lands of Kalimdor for many years doing absolutely nothing....he was this NPC you could come across atleast in Desolace and (correct me if im wrong) in Feralas as well and some of the other zones....basicly he just walked there in central Kalimdor, minding his own business and not giving crap about anything that was happening.
ANyhow like moonkick said, the lore is crap in World of Warcraft and the only way it could be fixed is through Warcraft IV.
In TBC, the Dark Portal reopens, he crosses there again to come back to his home and reconcile with his kind.
He only returned in Legion.

PEople are raging at WOW lore, instead of seeing how the horde, regardless of future actions, WHERE entirely in the right to do this, and more honorable than Daelin, who was committing genocide unprovoked, and was destroying what neutrality the two forces had. YET THE HORDE DIDN'T PUNISH THE HUMANS, instead, they killed the only man responsible, and left. The only other kills were those who defended him(canonically likely at least.)
Im not a man who supports the horde, but I do not hate ti either. The racism in this comments section is rather disappointing, and blind. Just as Daelin was.

If sylvanas should step down or be killed off in BFA....I believe Rexxar would make a great Warchief…. But considering how Jaina is now...She may not be so kind to rexxar now....Who knows what the future will bring... But I know this...The story is getting good between the horde and the alliance right now.

Damn, that BFA allows you to see Jaina's regret, it just brings me back to play WC3 again.
If only Jaina could have told her father about she fought against Burning Legion with the Horde and Night Elves, perhaps, this fight may not happen either.
But there is also that other side to it....back then Jaina also knew that Horde was not anymore the savage army that it was during First and Second War.....but when first Garrosh and then Sylvanas became their leader.....there was also regret in Jaina that he didnt listen his father's warnings about the Horde. Ye under Thrall they were not the same as they once used to, but I got the feeling that Jaina regretted that he did not stood by his father back then or atleast listen his warnings.
