The average player may feel a little less powerful, but the game definitely feels so much more balanced. Nukes were cool but incredibly cheap and obnoxious to play against. Not a fair experience. All the defib changes were necessary, triple medium defib chaining was so unfun to play against. RPGs and mines one shotting lights? That would just make them objectively a useless class, which it has been for most of this games lifespan. Light class feels pretty good right now, medium is still very powerful and useful support, and the mesh shield buff for heavies is a MASSIVE buff. Heavy is still so powerful. I don’t play a whole lot of ranked but I enjoyed the seed system they implemented last season. It felt fair to me. I honestly feel like the game is in an amazing state! I feel like you’re just burnt out on this game and not enjoying it as much, which is totally valid. Play other games like you’re saying, and come back if you’re intrigued by new content/changes!

I had over 150 hours of play last season and never once died around a corner. Also, I don't think you factor for the fact all the one shots were not fun to play against, and those one shot were not skill expressive. Just pulling out an RPG and throwing it in the general direction of a light is not skill expressive. I would be down if they increased Headshot multipliers across the board, but rewarding players with free kills is not the way. Most of my friends quit the game to go back to CS in S2, because of all the Nuke's and shit.

We finally got to the point were all the guns feel good, took a whole year, but Im glad it happened. The cloak buff is just annoying unfortunately, hope it goes back to season 4 cloak. The c4 changes, rpg, and mine changes were 100% needed, took so much of the annoying/cheesy intant death out of the gameplay, feels 10x more balanced from season one.
The finals obviously isn't a perfect game, but there really just isnt a replacement for it. Im not worried about people leaving for other games like Marvel rivals because they appeal to completely different players. No other game comes to close the mix the finals has of having nice gunplay, incredible movement, great maps, awesome destruction, and in depth util usage.
Visual recoil = bad because it's not skill-based aiming but 1-shotting light with rpg and defibbing everyone with no consequence at all needs to come back because "fun"? lol what?? this season we also got buffs on the XP again, 93R, FCAR, mesh shield, cloak.. so no we don't only get nerfs.

No camera shake = weak feeling guns. The shake is minimal, if that fucks up your aim its a skill issue. Even cs/valorant, (games where most of the skill is in the recoil and aim) there is shake.

Why they nerf the things they do is because while things seem ok in a vacuum, the problems start cropping up by people stacking them. Yes two mines are fun an cool. But when you have 3 mediums with 16 mines on the fields... it creates issues. Or 3 heavies who can teamwipe anyone from range with 3 RPGs. etc. I personally think that if we went to unique gadget restriction per team, that could be interesting if those items were returned to their former glory. It'd might even bring a huge level of strategy if only one person can have any certain gadget, Like you could finally play a medium as a really support with instant defib if you were the only one.

I don't know if you tried the triple barrel shotgun ingame yet, if you try it in the practice range the afterburn doesn't work. It does 2 tap mediums and 3 tap heavy's.

The visual recoil change removal just killed this game for console players. The visual recoil was honestly not that bad, it was something you could overcome with practice and skill. The visual recoil was the only thing somewhat leveling the playing field between PC and console, however now we’re getting beamed from 100+ meters away by PC players. It’s almost unplayable now
Also, the visual recoil is what made the guns feel punchy and unique. The gunplay had a unique flavor to it, but now The Finals gun play is a lot more like every other generic shooter

I’d like to see the game with/without camera shake but not sure what level of impact it would have. I don’t think instant defibs were good for the game. 1-shot RPG isn’t fun. I have to say I wish they would’ve allowed nukes to remain and instead found a way to balance it. I think we should still just have our 2 explosive mines and not have to wait for one to charge, so much utility to destroy mines is available.
I think there’s a balance right, I agree some things should be made more fun, like for example the annoying part of the medium shotgun was its reload animation and how u can only cancel it with melee sometimes but it’s dmg was insane. Why not make the gun funner to use while also nerfing its annoying points. Also the new medium shotgun feels mid af, they need to start adding stuff atleast on the safe side of strong. Rather than introducing a weapon or gadget that’s weak and slightly buffing it over the course of 6-9 months. I’d much rather certain things be slightly to strong than too weak. I certainly don’t agree with buffing rpg dmg unless they nerf the tanks hp but they could certainly made certain gadgets stronger to balance out the kits. I’d much prefer rpgs maybe be a add a slow or disorientate and slightly quicker cd as long as the tanks had 300/325 hp same with mediums I feel like their health should be 225 hp and then buff their utility and mobility to make the game less of a sustain fest and more impactful abilities.

I never cared about visual recoil much. I get it when you're complaining about scoped weapon dots not lining up with the actual bullet, complain about that all you want. But i NEVER had any issue learning the assault rifles recoil patterns and beaming. Complaining about ttk tells me this game just isn't for you. Getting one tapped constantly is annoying. It is INARGUABLY an improvement that lights can actually spend more time playing the game and less time spectating because they got instakilled. Everything in this game is still strong, boo hoo you have less instant kill potential in a high ttk, consistent accuracy game. Master recoil and you can still get cod ttk under the right circumstances even on mediums.

I don't see people using cloak as much and they don't use it to its full potential unlike me or experienced players but that might change

But i NEVER had any issue learning the assault rifles recoil patterns and beaming. Complaining about ttk tells me this game just isn't for you. Getting one tapped constantly is annoying. It is INARGUABLY an improvement that lights can actually spend more time playing the game and less time spectating because they got instakilled. Everything in this game is still strong, boo hoo you have less instant kill potential in a high ttk, consistent accuracy game. Master recoil and you can still get cod ttk under the right circumstances even on mediums.

You are beyond obnoxious, they have made so many positive changes for the game (although not perfect) but you're still finding new things to complain about every day, seriously go play something you enjoy cause I've been watching you since S1 and it's nothing but negativity
clearly when things are more powerful there are more fun look at Marvel Rivals for example everything is extremely powerful and fun as hell this game used to have that now everything is weak as hell and boring.
