ENHORABUENA!!
Thanks to your comparision I just bought in music shop "Lite" today.... I'm delighted with it... Sound is good, effects are insane. First I was afraid that the 3W power would be too weak...Nonsense. It is loud as hell... :) I play in small room in a flat - it is just perfect stuff. I was playing for 3 hours for now ... it sound motivates me to exercise. before nux, I used a regular audio amplifier and ordinary audio speakers. Just like comparision of new Mercedes with horse cart :)
Thanks for sharing - the 8BT definitely sounds more guitar amp like, although there is more of the presence sometimes thin sounding in the upper frequencies. I love the mighty light, but the 8BT is worth the extra $30. I will be checking it out for myself. I am thinking, that the software and hardware are most likely the same. I actually made extra cab for my mightly light and with that is sounds great, but it is and extra box, so we will see.. My purpose is different - I need a small good sounding amp mostly for jazz occasional sessions at work
I believe there is. I'm not sure what it's for tho. Thinking back, I wish I kept it. It was a good amp. I still have my Lite BT and use it often. It has a cool chorus (via the app) which is saved as default. It records really well too. I am thinking about using it on a few songs.
hi there, no I don't think so. I just checked it out on my DAW, no sounds goes in. USB works as a charger and control its software to change effects, etc. I haven't downloaded the app for security reasons:)
Hi, i have bought the mighty 8bt but there is a problem with the dirtortiom channel, sound like a low gain sound, even put the gain maximum, do you know how to fix it?
Do you use single coil pickup guitar? If so, you would get less distortion sound than humbucker. If using a humbucker, you can compare the sound around 8:50 point in the video. If it's way less than that, you might need to contact the company for warranty maybe. I don't know how to fix it.
Hi there, the other day I gigged with my brand new one. I used the Clean channel, I had to set the volume on max and gain close to max, it was ok. I played a PRS SE single coil guitar made in Korea, stock ceramic pups. I think humbuckers must be louder, anyways, volume was enough in that small cafe and the mic also did the job, even u have Zero equalizer option on this channel. I found the reverb poor, only cranked out gave me some small reverb but I did not check the bt software, I have more fiddling options through it, I ve just seen u can choose different types of reverbs. For me the downside of this amp is the total lack of bass territory. Tone button all d way up gives u a great, articulated solo sound which is good in a little acoustic band situation. But playing alone I would need more bass on my low string when thumbing them. A bit boxy sounding too. But: no other amp out there with these features at d market, vox 5 is weaker, and I never had a chance to try it. I m wondering if I took off the back I could have bassier sound? I ll try it. If usb is for update why is no D/A function? Summing up, d amp is OK but I think d mighty lite 3watts looks and feels like a more professional, sturdier product. I somehow feel it on d cheapo side construction-wise. Wondering changing the speaker I may have a greater sound?
I would think that it would give more bass. Another economical idea for you might be getting a cheap bass amp and split your guitar signal to run both amps. I played a tele through 60w Acoustic bass amp (at GC it was around $80 used) before and it sounded very good to my ears.
@@guitarwriter I want to avoid to carry tons of gears. I have a Katana50, it does the job. Yesterray I gigged with a Roland bass amp which gave me massive, fantastic sound with my headless guitar, Tokai single coil strat pup at neck.
very good video. I have the small and I ve just ordered the bigger one for small cafe bar gigs. I cant hear too much bass from the bigger one either though
Thanks. I think the bigger one speaker is still pretty small, less than 10 inches for sure, so lacks bass. Looking back, I did like that amp too (kept small one).
@@guitarwriter I am planning to keep both. The smaller will stay on my desk, the 8Bt comes with me for small venues. I just could not find a better option in this segment with 2 channels. You know, years ago I had a brand new Roland AC60 which was advertised as a 60w amps ad it sucked with a band which played a cajon only! No enough volume, cumbersome shape and way too expensive. I also had a great Fishman Mini but it could not take electric guitar, I killed its speaker once when hooked a distortion effect in front of it.
Thank you so much for this review exactly what I was looking for..! Does the two channels on the 8BT and aux in works at the same time? Thanks a lot Subscribed for more
I think the new Fender Mustang Micro (headphone amp) could something you'd like. Apart from that, the 8BT sounded better on my 2.1 speaker system... more "open".
If u like to play thru headphones may try these budget multi effect pedal from China.... Cuvave Cube Baby. I got this & it's really fun for a small compact effect that fit in your pockets... i try to give u the link to that effect pedal.

That's just awesome! Thank you for sharing your feedback on that. it gave me a big smile.
Thanks for this video it helped me a lot. I was just considering these 2 amps.

Thank you very much. I just considered these two...
my pleasure! I'm glad you found this video useful.
anyone knows what the usb port is for on 8bt?

You should try the mighty air.
@@williammolina9792 is that one good? I am not in the market for any amp, so haven’t been keeping up:)
Can you play backing track in TH-cam via Bluetooth on the lite Amp?
Yes
Hey, i was just wondering. Could the nux mighty lite bt used as a sound card?
hi there, no I don't think so. I just checked it out on my DAW, no sounds goes in. USB works as a charger and control its software to change effects, etc. I haven't downloaded the app for security reasons:)

I have this amp apparently the overdrive/distortion channel is meant to be a vintage guitar overdrive.Thats how it was built
@@Subilon Thanks for the info. That makes sense based on the overdrive sound on this.
whats the mic like? ty for doing this as ive ordered the bigger 1 with mic input
Just average
Can it be used for drum n piano amplifier?
I don’t see why not.
Does it have a tuner built in.
No
I'm planning to buy mighty 8 or boss katana mini which do you think is better?
Not sure. I haven't tried Boss katana yet.. I am checking out a used Fender Blues Junior now:)
Yes the smaller one sounds way better. Great video
I wouldn't say that. A larger one just forces the microphone to clipping.

@@ymelfilm Yeah, bass amps are overlooked by guitar players. I'm becoming more fan of bass guitar sound. It might be due to ear fatigue from guitars:)

What amplifier is better?
I kept the small one. Both amps are very good.
Use the app more tones
Yes, I recently make the app work and the chorus is great on the app. thanks.
It should be NUX Mighty vs Blackstar Fly 3... and i too got NUX Mighty BT20. It's amazing.
I didn’t know Fly 3 existed then. Not in the market for it now. I’ve been playing through Marshall combo these days.
