I was incredibly tempted to pick the evil choices because in all honesty, it was rather selfish of most of them to ask for things when they knew about the Crawler coming. I understand Kalin/Aurora asking for help, fair enough - but Page, Sabine, the sewage, the orphanage - all that could have waited a little longer to ensure there's a kingdom to have it all in in the first place. :/
i agree with some of the choices being nonsensical like logan literally told everyone his reasoning and why he did what he did in the court, and everyone that comes to ask you about stuff was there (except ironically reaver who is basically the only one that is actually trying to make progress towards saving the kingdom) so they understand that they need to get ready to defend themselves from the crawler but for whatever reason they still insist on wasting resources on very unnecessary things
MalibuStacey fr why couldn't just say look guys there's a fucking Apocalypse coming soooo either donate money or things gonna be shitty for a little bit but other than that loved this game it was beautiful
In my main character world, I raised 8.5 million instead of 6.5. I saved everyone and I kept all my promises. All of Albion loves me! Then there's my other evil character. I still raised 8.5 million but instead of donating to the treasury I took all the money out and killed everyone and also broke every promise :)
I thought that line was a hint to a sequel too! AKA we will release new Fable footage when the company is nearly finished with the new one. ❤ I'm so happy we're getting a new Fable after all these years!!!!! 🥳
Too bad it’s the studio that made forza making fable 4, well can’t complain as long as it’s a fable game, just hate the idea of a new planet and time travel in fable 4 tbh
I have never done the all evil ending and I wanted to know how it would end if you did so. After seeing this, I have found a new favorite character in Ben Finn. He's the only ally besides Walter who stands by your side, even after all of the bad choices you make as king, while the others all turn their back on you for not giving greedy and unnecessary handouts, knowing that the world was in danger with a limited amount of time to earn the money to save everyone. That's a true friend right there.
They were mostly things you promise though lol. And they aren't even that expensive to do. Page asks most of the things from you, which is annoying. I beat the game with 9 million gold in my treasury, and went with every good option except lowering tax because i thought the things they'd ask for would be ridiculously expensive, and they weren't. Most things were like 50,000 - 100,000 gold loss.
@@AtlisDe I always play as good characters, but when I played for the first time, that was my logic. "It's not that expensive, and I have gold coming in that I will put into the treasury after" My thinking was also that I'd like people to come back after the darkness to an Albion that is full of life and worth the battle in the end for everyone involved. I tend to put prices up on the Millfields houses and pawnbrokers to earn cash faster, but I leave everything else at normal/low rates and I still earn enough to cover all of the good decisions. Win-win.

I wish it was possible too. I guess, technically it would be if you literally just kill everyone in Albion. Except for the guards, they will probably respawn. You can also buy all the land, raise the rent, let all their houses go in disrepair, go around making everyone hate you by always pressing X, and let us not forget break every single promise in the game.
@@shasta1101 A channel called RTGame was playing as an absolute psychopath throughout the whole game, killing people constantly. But, because he acquired every property and raised taxes to absurd amounts, his treasury was fistful of gold. He kept a couple of promises, and the game gave him a good ending with 100% good moral standard. Moral of the story: Fable is hilarious
I saw that play through! I would’ve liked to see more endings, like having the kingdom fall if you didn’t raise the money, but RT played as chaotically as possible and I loved every second of it
i feel like walter was lying during his death "walter:everythings so clear i can see the sky and its light" me:but i cant see shit... and the sky is full of rain clouds.... and its dark too...

I remember finishing this game along side my friend. I saved everyone and made all the benevolent choices.... everyone in his world died and he couldn't even buy from shops.
If you want to save everyone as a benevolent ruler and make good choices, you need to have real estate business by purchasing all houses and set them up for rent and buying business stores and set prices to high.
You don't really have to set the prices to high. Mainly buy the stores so you don't have to fix them 24/7. Takes longer on normal price. But It is worth It. You can also pick some evil choice without breaking a promise. Such as the quarry over the river.
This is one of the endings in this incredible game and it shows the effect choices make. Its also the easiest ending if you notice. Its completely possible to keep all promises and save the Kingdom, however it takes patience and perseverance. Before you take the kingdom make the time to rent houses and own business'. I adjusted the prices to low or normal and took my time exploring and completing secondary quests. All you have to do to keep promises is use your own money to fill the treasury.
These endings make me feel... empty. Like it feels almost unfinished. I could never do the evil ending myself but I get how some people enjoy it. Or just do it for the evil run.
Even if you play the evil route, the game shoehorns your character into being someone noble and caring despite the bad things you do. Super immersion-breaking.
What I don't get is how there is only ONE citizen who was actually willing to donate something to help save the people of Albion. You would think there would at least be a donations box somewhere, but no, everyone is spending their money on pies, extremely generous tips for bards who don't even play actual music, and the materials for an endless supply of shitty swords.
I still think this is the best way this story can end. You will go down in history as a Tyrant, yet it is because you made the unpopular decisions that Albion (while broken) continues to survive. Time can mend wounds and Albion can flourish again someday. Thats what a Ruler is. The person who can make the choice that no one else can.
I got the all good ending, and kept everybody alive. I opened the demon door that gave me 1 million gold (I have forgotten which one it is). That gave me the gold to buy all the shops in Albion, and I just ran around doing quests, finding gnomes, and finding keys until I had enough gold. The only evil aligned decision I made in the whole game was to outlaw alcohol, I know I'm crazy but I think alcohol is a bad thing. :D
Apperantly the shiny reflection of gold is it's only weakness, but knowing I saw Ben Yahtzees video about two months after I wrote this and I shouted "I KNOW, RIGHT!?!" If anything, preparing people to defend themselves seems a lot more deadly than having a giant pile of gold sitting there.
haha i love how u fuck over Logan yet he was right all along thats why when opening the music box u see him say Albion must follow or Albion will fall... great fucking game
It's kind of annoying that when you think of it, the moral of the story is that money is the only power... the only difference between the good Hero and Logan/evil Hero really is that the good Hero spends lots of money to keep their promises. Basically the game literally says "if Logan had invested more money in businesses and real estate he too could have kept these specific promises" and that there is no good or evil, just money and what you choose to spend it on. Kind of depressing really.
fable is such a good game in concept but none of the choices ever feel like they have any gravity when they are just hand waved away with an ending like this.
The fable games deal with choices so much better than other games. Think of Skyrim and fallout, the choices don’t really matter but they have more weight to them in fable.
@@worried_sickk5811 Fable has a very black and white view on morality, there's always an obvious good choice and an oblivious bad one. It doesn’t get anymore complex there that, the choices of fable have always been shallow ones.
On my ending when Walter dies all the other people who i promised was there in the scene because i kept my promise and raised enough money to pay for an army... I hear you asking how? once you become king you should be able to get to a secret demon door which hold 1 million gold. Use that gold to buy property and raise the rent to high... Not really high. Then every 5 minutes in real time you can get over 100,000 gold. Just wait a bit and you'll have enough. you need about 8 million at the end.
I invested in real estate from the first day. Although I was evil the entire play through donating my money to the treasury forced me to be good in the end, I chose every good choice as the king, kept all my promises and gained the 6.5 million needed to survive the attack, and I had 3 million left over by the time the invasion came. Thumbs up so people can see how to do this.
I never had to make any of the evil decisions before, I always managed to fund the war out of pocket. As it is, the only parts i've never seen were teresas reactions to the evil decisions. That was kind of cool.
Depends if you want to be good or evil. Good choices are quite costly, while evil choices give you money. You have four choices: 1) Be truly evil by stealing the money you earned from evil choices and everyone dies. 2) Use evil choices to raise money to save Albion. 3) Be the popular hero and do all the good choices, but you'll have no money and everyone will die. 4) Do the good choices but put in some work in business to earn your own money, then donate it all so Albion survives and loves you.
The only thing funnier than breaking all your promises because you are financially UNABLE to keep your promises is breaking them EVEN THOUGH you are financially able to keep them LOL
I managed to save most everyone and still keep promises-it takes about 7 million gold, but if you don't feel like doing it the hard way, look into the 2 player gifting trick-sure it defeats the purpose, but it's there if you want the happiest ending, and Logan will praise you for doing better than him.
I actually managed both totally good and totally evil endings... With the exception of the drinking limit ruling, which I reversed. I did all the good things save for that and amassed enough money to save everyone. Evil... Broke every promise and didn't have anything in the treasury. That file... Is really, really surreal now. I mean, I know it said everyone would die but... Good lord... Literally? Wow...
@MusicAndTheMind For 5 star sword, gun and magic make sure you do every quest so you get more guild seals and only spend them on things you need like upgrades and not new magic, so just focus on getting upgrades. For the money i took 500k from my other data and used it to rent shops so i get money while doing the quests (remember to buy places as soon as you can afford them) and by the time you are king you will have alot of money plus an extra 1m for becoming king (Demon door)
Poet A , having multiple wives on fable 3 shows how rushed the game is. Do it on fable 2 and you run a high risk of getting caught , as one of your wives can just visit you anywhere at anytime. Great games , but fable 3 was by far the weakest .
I guess it's hard to do the same thing and expect a different outcome, but I don't know why the hero took a second to say "We apperantly need gold to give as many people magical force fields as possible, so shut up and pay your bills."
While it is amusing to think that wealth is the Crawler's kryptonite, I always took it less that the gold was a way to fight back against it and more that it was a hope that enough would cover the expenses to keep everyone alive.
When u get to it, save aruora because your miners find a gem worth almost double what u payed to keep aruora. But u have the alittle battling to get it.....
@TheLemmingJesus are u sure it overwrote it? it can have multiple saves, just go to the options and select load it should display a room with the two heroes
@McBarisch the money has to be in the kingdom's safe so donating is important you can make all the money by having businesses and that extra stuff ingame.
There should be more DLC for this game... Maybe in time for the original Fable HD remake? I was hoping they could make some DLC for the failed Kinect game but nuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu everyone hated Fable III, I think it was fantastic.
I think that it's trying to impress upon the player how important these decisions are as a monarch. Previously "Evil Pays Better" hardly had much baring on the main plot, but here your main choices are be hated but have enough money to survive a cataclysmic event, or be loved and not have enough. It's a sort of right for the wrong reasons, wrong for the right reasons kind of deal. Unless you take the third option, of course.
I did the good ending, saved everyone and kept all my promises. In the time between II and III, Reaver broke his promises and tried to kill you. So why would you want to support his decisions after he tried to kill you. Still, earning all the gold may seem like hard work, but it is worth it in the end.
@Sparkifi so what created all this, science, fate, probability? what causes causality itself? when u go into the core u only end up in one direction, that logically there must be sum kind of metaphysical force that creates and balances all forms of matter
Done it. The only people left are those who give quests, and Theresa still acts as though you've saved the entire kingdom. At least there's nobody left to have a go at you, I suppose.
Well I think in the game at the point where you commission the army it tells you of how many projected casualties there will be. Perhaps more money means you can commission a bigger army to keep more people safe. While you are the one to truly defeat it, you need an army to keep the Crawler's minions at bay and reduce casualties.
Which promise is the defining one to keep Page and Kalin on your side? Because Ben automatically stays with you, and Sabine only asks for one thing. Can you reject all Page's proposals except for the orphanage/brothel one, and still keep her as an ally? Same with Kalin - can you agree to rebuild Aurora but refuse the desert fortress idea and still keep her? Or do they want you to agree to everything?
I guess it depends on how you start the game, sell items at the start, and buy houses for income near the start, because I did so and at the end of the game I didnt have much problem saving all of Albion and Aurora. No Casualties
Its the same exact ending as being good minus a couple people? Why give the choices if they don't hold any significant value... I let the monsters eat the whole village and it still said I was a good king lol I thought for sure that would be evil
to some people not me , but i found a few people saying the crawler was jack of blades in a new form that he loved rose in the second one when she died he was supposed to come back to the sand place and the shadows changed him into the darkness . the jack of blades i know wouldnt let shadows turn him into that he would turn into something worse like a dragon or hell even a god that would kick ass .
oh please fable 3 has just 1 story to it: being a king and ruling the world in skyrim, you can choose between 2 sides, imperials and stormcloaks you can also explore about 100-200 caves and finish all the 900-1000 quests. And theres loads of sides to join. companions.. battle born.. gray mane...imperials...stormcloaks...dark brotherhood... i would run out of space if i named them all.
@Medevil9908 There are precedents in History like that. Frederick the Great invaded Saxony and plunged his Kingdom into horrific war for 7 years which caused massive suffering. However, Austria, Russia, and France, had planned all along to invade, so he stole a march on them and several historians have concluded that saved his kingdom from certain destruction. Being a King is not all fun and games, some Kings are stronger than you and will try to destroy you.
@mcpottypants9 William's blood have different effects on it's descendants, like Theresa being immortal and the Hero of Brightwall not being able to cast magic by himself. So maybe Logan can't reflect his moral like previous heroes...Or he simply have more from the mother side that the Hero of Bower Lake side...
I let everyone die! :D Now there are only around 1-10 villagers left in the entire world at any given time! Oh, and the guards constantly respawn in the castle. Great for unlocking legendary weapon augments.
@TheWtfb You could buy all the real estate in Albion, and wait until you have 8.5 million, then you get to be good and keep your promises. The Sunset demon door has 1 million which would be enough.
I started when I had chance to unlock level 5 job. so I invested one or two hours, bought all pawnshops and inns and other stuff, and when I bought all the shops I continued playing and later bought remaining houses. when I became king I had 7 790 000 gold. easy
@McBarisch No do all the good ending requirements you can have 0 in the treasury and once everyone dies get married and have the best wedding then youl get all your villagers back and such and they wont hate you
@BIACoDfan1 I'm not sure if you ever played it or even heard of it, but when I ruled, I asked myself: "What would Kain (Legacy of Kain) do?" Even sort of modeled my look after him.
" you've done me proud boy, you've tuned the orphanage into a whore house, you've bailed out the economy, you've enslaved all of aurora, you've turned the mountains into a barren wasteland, you've done me proud
Have been knocked out 0 times on my good guy and once on my bad. On my good guy how do i get all my people back? do dey respawn after a cuple of days or what?

You have four choices: 1) Be truly evil by stealing the money you earned from evil choices and everyone dies. 2) Use evil choices to raise money to save Albion. 3) Be the popular hero and do all the good choices, but you'll have no money and everyone will die. 4) Do the good choices but put in some work in business to earn your own money, then donate it all so Albion survives and loves you.
Damn I haven't played this game since 2011 and remember the tough decisions I had to make as King
@Yournothawt I really like Fable 2 because if a single player game like that can last for 2 years on excelling gameplay you know it's good
Bro, Russell Shaw is STILL AVAILABLE. Why did they not get him for the new 'Fable'?
actually criminal
To whom it may concern:
The armour was bought in Bowerstone Market, at a clothing store.
wow the ending is so much shorter I dont have to listen to all of them!!!! beautiful lol
The only thing funnier than breaking all your promises because you are financially UNABLE to keep your promises is breaking them EVEN THOUGH you are financially able to keep them LOL
I have played both Male/Female characters in Fable III, and for some reason the female character fits the part so much better.
I managed to save most everyone and still keep promises-it takes about 7 million gold, but if you don't feel like doing it the hard way, look into the 2 player gifting trick-sure it defeats the purpose, but it's there if you want the happiest ending, and Logan will praise you for doing better than him.
He didn't leave his game on for a long time, but he did buy all the houses.
For the money i took 500k from my other data and used it to rent shops so i get money while doing the quests (remember to buy places as soon as you can afford them) and by the time you are king you will have alot of money plus an extra 1m for becoming king (Demon door)
i cant fraud im a bigimist i got 13 children 15 wifes on here
+Poetacthewriter jesus
well, like nick fury said: the guy's multiplying faster than a catholic rabbit.
+RF Commander Alec Mason haha what the hell
Tony Scalze That was from Avengers: Age of Ultron.
But u have the alittle battling to get it.....
battling= exp, items and $$$... so a win-win. sure, those sand furies are annoying but it's still a fun quest and indeed a handsome payout
@TheLemmingJesus are u sure it overwrote it? it can have multiple saves, just go to the options and select load it should display a room with the two heroes
Ben Finn is one of my favourite character on Fable 3... Cause he has cool hair
@McBarisch
the money has to be in the kingdom's safe
so donating is important
you can make all the money by having businesses and that extra stuff ingame.
Hero: Walter!!!!
Walter: I know your face...
Anyone? My dad?
@roan0nauwelaerts i think if they made fable 4 that you should become a balverine
There should be more DLC for this game... Maybe in time for the original Fable HD remake? I was hoping they could make some DLC for the failed Kinect game but nuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu everyone hated Fable III, I think it was fantastic.
Rest in peace Walter, we all loved you :(
I think that it's trying to impress upon the player how important these decisions are as a monarch.
@Excelerationz
yeah, you're right, but I can't help but like fable: the lost chapters almost as much, exept in skyrim you fight a drag-OH WAIT.
>Made every good decision
>Donated money to save everyone because I had massive real estate holdings.
WIN
Well I think in the game at the point where you commission the army it tells you of how many projected casualties there will be. Perhaps more money means you can commission a bigger army to keep more people safe. While you are the one to truly defeat it, you need an army to keep the Crawler's minions at bay and reduce casualties.
I'm legit gonna cry, I'm still on my way to finish. ;
IDR what my Albion was like been FOREVER
Damn bro was playing with auxiliary cables 😂
I did 3/4th good, everyone STILL hated me, and most of them died. Some deal =/
Agreed. The apple was thrown away from the tree that was Fable TLC.
to some people not me , but i found a few people saying the crawler was jack of blades in a new form that he loved rose in the second one when she died he was supposed to come back to the sand place and the shadows changed him into the darkness . the jack of blades i know wouldnt let shadows turn him into that he would turn into something worse like a dragon or hell even a god that would kick ass .
oh please
fable 3 has just 1 story to it: being a king and ruling the world
in skyrim, you can choose between 2 sides, imperials and stormcloaks
you can also explore about 100-200 caves and finish all the 900-1000 quests.
I started when I had chance to unlock level 5 job. so I invested one or two hours, bought all pawnshops and inns and other stuff, and when I bought all the shops I continued playing and later bought remaining houses. when I became king I had 7 790 000 gold. easy
@McBarisch 6 Million plus the money for making all the good decisions. This is around 3 to 4 mil extra. I had around 13mil by the time it mattered so.
where did you get your armour?
Yay Ben remains loyal even if you're evil~
@McBarisch No do all the good ending requirements you can have 0 in the treasury and once everyone dies get married and have the best wedding then youl get all your villagers back and such and they wont hate you
Now you posted this video 9 years ago but how did you get that armor
@BIACoDfan1 I'm not sure if you ever played it or even heard of it, but when I ruled, I asked myself: "What would Kain (Legacy of Kain) do?" Even sort of modeled my look after him.
Theresa is -alive-. She is part of the bloodline and because of that, she's able to live longer. I'm thinking something similar to Scythe.
@BLARGanot Saying that to the nation would probably result in widespread panic, and things would probably go to hell pretty quickly.
While...
*keeps all promises*
*keeps everyone happy*
*everyone dies as a result of that*
*everyone love you?
The hero of oakvale is apart of that bloodline too.
well if you be good everyone dies but will come back when you put more money 6,500,000 in treasury and they will love you
@XxUndeadOzzyxX What do you actually mean? Because Albion cannot die..
